Chapter Three: Accidental Meet

Leela

She looked either way.

No one, she started to smile.

Maybe she could get out for awhile.

Then--

"Oh my God, it's her! It's Lo-Mai!"

She groaned, "Not today!"

She broke into a run.

So much for her fun.

She cut a corner, and nearly missed him.

After all the lighting had been dim.

He ggrunted and she looked up.

His white shirt was wet, she had spilled his coffee cup.

Fuck, she thoguth as she started to say

"Sorry." But he sighed adn rose with grace.

Whoa, she said as he came to light. "Nice face."

He blinked, "What did you say?"

She blushed, "I said 'I'm sorry for running into you today?' "

He frowned, but at didn't question it. 

Leela sighed inside. She couldn't lie for shit.

Wade

He made a turn to leave, looking for 

Any with a badge on the street floor.

None, he realized and started to smile.

He could be home in a little while.

He turned to the young woman behind him.

He could see, however, though it was dim.

She was blonde with eyes of grey.

He asked, "What brings you out today?"

She blinked, as she broke from her stare.

He inwardly rolled his eyes, as if he cared.

Every woman seemed to look.

Despite whatever he did, it never took

Much for them to fall for him, he knew.

But he had better things to do.

"I'm kinda on the run."

He blinked. She wasn't out fro fun?

She barely looked twenty-one!

"Where are your friends?" He asked, his irritation done

But curosity rising. She shrugged, "I don't have too many."

He raised a brow, "What about here? Do you have any?"

She shook her head. "No."

He noticed she let her sadness show.

She shook her head, "I have to go."

He nodded, "It was to have a free show."

She froze and looked back but Wade was gone.

Little did she know she had just been turned into a pawn.
