It pulls me away
From the terrors of today
From the monsters of the outside world
It leads me from insanity
And into a world of fantasy
Where time is nothing but blurred
Hilltops of green
Wondrous sights to be seen
In the new world that is my own
All is not what it seems
For the distant screams
Come from a place that is unknown
The bright colours fade
And give way to a darker shade
Where the monsters are free to roam
Ghouls and ghosts rule the world
Whilst other evils are hurled
Up from their catacomb
Then all fades away
To the new today
And the monsters of the other world
I'm led back to sanity
From my world of fantasy
Where my world is nothing but blurred
