A hand was on my shoulder and gently shook me as a man's voice began to slowly fade into my ears

"Luna, I hate to wake you but you've been asleep for nearly 15 hours!"

I opened my eyes tiredly and looked at the man, his dark brown hair was spiked with gel and he wore a white coat, it was obvious he was a doctor. I shifted and stood up straight in the chair before instinctively looking over at Erebus who was now on his side facing away from me.

"Did he wake up at all yet?" I asked looking up at the man

"No, with all the running he did beforehand with chasing and fighting the rogues it makes sense he's still unconscious. His body needs time to recover from using all that energy" his voice was low and calm as he looked at Erebus while speaking.

I nodded before looking outside, it was mid-afternoon which meant that Erebus had now been unconscious for a day and a half, I must have been really tired if I slept for that long.

"Would you like something to eat? Maybe even go outside for a walk?" He asked looking down at me

"Could I get something to eat please?" My eyes stayed trained on my mates back as I replied

"Of course"

With that he walked out of the room and down the hall, I guess the food I was going to receive would be a surprise then, which was perfectly fine there wasn't a lot of foods that dissatisfied me. Even though he was unconscious and wouldn't wake up I still got up as quietly as possible before walking over to his side. I ran my fingers through his hair while massaging his scalp, the last time I did this we'd been on the couch in the living room and he had loved it. Ever so slightly I felt the pressure increase on my fingertips as he shifted to press the top of his head to my gentle hands. A little chuckle bubbled up through me from his unconscious notion to do such a thing without even being awake. I leaned down slightly so my lips nearly brushed his forehead

"I'll wait for you, as long as it takes, no matter what I'll wait. Don't worry about a thing" my voice came out as a soft whisper before I pressed a light kiss to his temple and stood back up to my full height. For some reason, it felt like he could hear every word I said and every breath I'd taken while being here with him. It made me happy though even if it wasn't true, even if he really couldn't hear one thing I'd said at least I could imagine he did.

The door opened swiftly to reveal the same nurse that had talked to Addison, Brandon and me but this time with a tray of food in her hands. She walked over to me with a smile and set the tray down on the nightstand beside Erebus temporary bed.

"I hope you don't mind Luna, I made sure to pick out multiple different things from the cafeteria for you but if none of them look pleasing just tell me and I'll get something else."

I turned to look at the tray that had multiple plates with different food arrangements on them, every single thing looked absolutely delightful.

"Oh no, this looks great. Thank you so much" I smiled at her

Her smile grew wider, obviously, she was pleased with my happy reply and not having to go back to get more food.

"Well great. I'll leave you alone then" she turned on her heel and she asked out

"Bye" I called out slightly

With that, I sat back down in the recliner and ate off the large tray of food before snuggling back up into the soft fabric and watching the news channel that was now on the screen.

(Timeskip)

The sun shined through the window right onto my face, I turned the recliner the opposite direction lazily with my foot. Afterward, I just continued doing this round and round in the chair before I became a little dizzy. The door opened then and Blake walked in before looking around the room then his eyes landed in me
