So, I'm not going to lie I had to look up penny boarding, but then I realized it's basically skate boarding so it's all good now.

"Why don't we stop here Abby!" Calum calls back to you, him and his penny board skidding to a stop.

"Alright!" You shout as you near him, looking out at the basically deserted beach in front of you, noting the crimson sunset along the horizon. "I needed a break anyway."

"Same, my legs are basically jello!" Calum says, pulling a small blanket he had packed in his bag out and lays it across the sand.

"Tell me about it, mine feel like they're going to fall off..." You mumble plopping (plopping) down next to Calum, a content sigh escaping your lips. "But hey, at least the scenery's lovely..."

"Yeah, it is." Calum says looking straight at you, causing you to giggle.

"You're so cheesy!"

"Well, I do like cheese..." He replies, wiggling his eyes as you lay back watching the now twinkling stars above you, a playful smirk on your lips.

"That has to be the worst joke, if that's what I can even call it, I've ever heard." You mumble as Calum let's out a loud laugh before laying next to you, a large smile on his face.

"Yeah." He says, still giggling at himself. "It was quite awful, but still, you love me anyway!"

"Oh, I love you alright..." You smile lightly looking over at him, the moonlight washing over the both of you as he leans in for a quick kiss before mumbling a simple

"And I love you too."
