The Hogwarts Express arrived at the station, Hermione woke Harry and the three went to the carriages. Harry spotted Draco in the crowd and his heart started beating faster. He mentally cursed himself, Why Malfoy? Of all people?? He just didn't understand it, at all.
Soon, they were sitting in the great hall, enjoying the magical feast, as headmistress McGonagall was about to make an announcement.
"Silence please!" She said, the hall went quiet.
"As you might have noticed, we have our last seventh years back, they have been brought back to Hogwarts in order to have the classes they missed out on last year because off-- well because of the events at the school.
Since we do not have enough space in our house dormitories, the eighth year students will have a separate common room and instead of the dorms, they will share rooms with another student. You will find the pairings on a list in the common room in the eighth floor corridor, if you cannot find your way there, the ghosts will help you. Now of to bed, everyone!" The great hall emptied as the students all went to their houses.
Draco was nervous about who he was going to live with, but decided not to think too much about it as he made his way to the eighth floor corridor and his new home.
"Hey Draco, wait up!" Pansy shouted. She caught up with Draco and they walked together towards the unfamiliar painting of a knight.
"What if you get to be with Pot— I mean, a special someone?" she asked.
"If McGonagall has any sense, she wont have paired us, he would have hexed me on the spot." Said Draco, sadness in his voice. As far as he was concerned, Harry Potter hated his guts and would never even dream of being so much as friends with him. Only a miracle could make him look twice at me... he thought.
"Hah! Oi Dean? Yeah we're sleeping together!" Shouted Seamus, most of the crowd started laughing.
Hermione was paired with a Ravenclaw named Liza Dylan, Ron was with Neville.
As harry went to check who he was paired with, he choked on the air.
"Well i think you'll be with Potter." Pansy said, sounding convinced.
"No, I'm 100% sure I'll be with Blaise." Draco answered. As they looked through the list Draco found that he was
100%
wrong.
Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy were sharing rooms. Well isn't that just an interesting coincidence?
