'¿Millenium Falcon, seriously? Freddy laughed. 'But it looks rather like a chunk of stale cheese!'

'You can stay here, moron,' grumbled Blackie, for whom the only gripe regarding the ship that would take them back to Earth was neither its nickname nor its aspect, but its dimensions, for it would not fit in his private hangar, and Blackie determined to make it straight to his home and remain hidden therein from the public until his mane had grown long again.

Contrary to Freddy, however, and to the surprise of everyone, Lara Croft did accept the proposal of staying (therefore there were no games of the main Tomb Raider series between 2008 and 2013). I'll now recount how she made that choice.

While exploring the Predators' lair, Lara stumbled on another human, but fate had it that it was not any human but her old friend Han, a fellow researcher who was not in the lair as a prisoner, but rather in the capacity of an employee. Han was the cook, and he absolutely refused to abandon his post because, he declared movingly, at last someone acknowledged his talent; besides, he stressed, his job was in itself his reward, for he often savoured new ingredients to try in his recipes.

On her part, the opportunity to study the habits and rituals of another species from a planet not yet discovered, their edifices, language, technology (and the taste of their preys, Han whispered to her), was too strong a temptation for Lara, so she filled in the position of dishwasher in order to obtain her legal residence among the Predators. Later on an extraordinary treatise on such creatures under the title of "Savage Amusement, a portrait of a tribe of Delirious Nomads" (which title was offered by the Hell Patrol, as the first two words constitute the title of an album by Scorpions, while the last two constitute one by Armored Saint). This treatise, signed by Lara Croft, featured a preface of her colleague's, Dr Hannibal Lecter —to whom, on account of his gastronomic penchants, I dedicate the song "Flesheater" by Lizzy Borden.

In spite of its powerful turbines, the Millenium Falcon glided on very slowly because Adrian, on racing against a comet, had the ship diverge from its course and nearly exhausted its fuel reserve. Then, on top of this, due to another altercation between Blackie and Freddy, the sidereal GPS borrowed from Bluegrass, the pilot of the SilverHawks, got broken, and it was awfully challenging to regain their bearings with the aid of the map that Duck Dodgers had sent them through Snapchat in response to their distress call (a map like the one he drew in the cartoon Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century).
