I was sitting at home, Ryan had baseball practice today. Macy was out hoeing around. Marcus was at physical therapy so i had the house to myself.
I was on face time with Riley. Her brown hair was in a messy bun as she sat there messing with her puppy.
Me- Bitchhhhh
Riley- What hoe
Me- put snickerdoodle down and talk to me
Riley- about what?!
Me- How are you and Reese?
Riley- that ended a long time ago
Me- what happened?
Riley- he "drunk texted" his ex asking for sex
Me- drunken words, sober thoughts
Riley- Exactly
Me- yeahh...
Riley- What about you and Ryan?
Me- we're good
Riley- Good? Just good?
Me- yeahh...
Riley- i gotta go honey boo boo
Me- Alright bye bitchhh
I close my laptop and pull out my phone and me to reveal 4 texts from Ryder. Can't he just get a break?
Ryderr- Ryan isn't at baseball practice
Ryderr-I called his coach and asked and he said he never showed up this morning
Ryderr- Then he buttdialed me...
Ryderr- Mackenzie?
Me- What are you saying Ryder?
Ryderr- He's cheating on you. With Riley
Me- i just got off the phone with her!
Ryderr- Was it sudden?
Me- yeah...
Ryderr- Exactly
My heart breaks in two. My stomach starts churning and i break down. I was getting hurt AGAIN! I can't stand the thought of my best friend hooking up with my boyfriend.
It hurt. I knew Ryder was better for me! I knew it!

I pull out my phone and dial Ryder's number
