—Cole was a runaway with a checkered past. He had a bloody nose and bruised knuckles when Dinah Lance found him. She dressed his wounds and understood his anger, she wasn't a stranger to this type of situation. She offered up not only a home but a new way to release that anger.

A/N| It's back, new, and improved! You all have bIuejays to thank because she inspired me to clean up this story and fix the 'writing' that I had earlier. I'm excited for this story more this go around and I feel like I finally know what direction I'm heading in and I know Cole better.
Edit: yes, I changed Cole's faceclaim, this one just felt much closer to what I envision when I see an animated Cole.
