Hazel was still crying on the way home. Her mother yanked open the door and glared at her daughter, yanking her inside and slamming the door. Then hugged Hazel and cried.
"Don't you ever EVER do that again!" Sally said and Hazel nods. "Ok, Mom. I'm sorry" she said. Sally took her to her room and tucked her in, singing.

When she saw Hazel fall asleep, she left the room to sleep in her own room with Scott. Hazel had tears running down her cheeks. "Dad..." she sobbed. She couldn't take this anymore.
She woke up and packed her stuff in her bag. She went to sleep after she wrote a note. She would leave in the morning and live with her dad.
