A Quiet Day

A quite day

Just you and me.

We have little to say

So we let the silence be.

My hand drifts towards yours,

You make no objections.

I want so much more

But I fear rejection.

You drive me crazy

I can’t help it, but it’s true.

I just don’t know what to say, baby

But I think I could spend my life with you.

I know we are young

And plenty foolish too

But my hearts been sprung

And I love you.
