Lonnie was always told how lucky she was to have the Gerald Alexander as a father by all the muggleborn students at Hogwarts. She always just smiled politely and rushed to end the conversation because she didn't really agree. Her father, Gerald Alexander, was a very famous actor that could secure any role he wanted, but Gerald was also a very lackluster father. He never spent much time with his growing daughter. He usually worked when she was home for the summer, and would only see her for a couple days over Christmas break seeing as he had a very packed schedule.
Now, Lonnie didn't mind that much. She never watched his movies, especially when he would act as a family man (it was so far from the truth), but that was her only act of rebellion against her practically absent father.
Lonnie was also told how lucky she was to have the Isabella Grayson as her mother by all the pure-blood and half-blood witches at Hogwarts. This time, Lonnie could agree. Her beloved mother, was the most important person in Lonnie's life. Her mother was always able to make her smile and make her feel like the most amazing person to ever walk the Earth. Although, Isabella Grayson wasn't known for her loving nature. She was known because of her creative talent.
Lonnie's mother was an immaculate dress maker, especially with magic on her side. She could sew the most extraordinary dresses. Some would shine in the moonlight; others would change color depending on the lighting in the room; others would seem to move like calm waves in the ocean. Isabella Grayson was well-known in the wizarding world, while Gerald Alexander was well-known in the muggle world.
Then there was Lonnie Alexander, just kind of there. She didn't have talent flowing from her like her parents did. She was only known from their achievements. She didn't let it bother her too much. Lonnie just hoped one day talent would come find her, but for right now, Lonnie was fine with flying under the Talent Radar. That all changes when she wants to impress a red-headed girl that walks into her mother's dress shop.

— I also chose the name "rich girl" from the gwen stefani song rich girl- "all the riches baby won't mean anything. all the riches baby won't bring what your love can bring" or something like that
— while helping ginny find her dress they become friends
— the dress lonnie picks out for ginny is super expensive but doesn't tell her. ginny looks at the price tag and says she can't afford it but lonnie buys it for her because it looks really good on her
— lonnie isn't some pampered girl. (but people believe she is) she is rich but she doesn't flaunt anything because that isn't her
— she is the same age as ginny or a year older (hence the young faceclaim— so the faceclaim will change when they get older- if you want to write a longer story
— lonnie visits her mothers dress shop in Hogsmeade during the schools hogsmeade trips and this time she decides to help Ginny out and impress her with her fashion sense
— she befriends hermione because she helps pick out her dress but hermione says she will and can pay even though lonnie says she's got it. so lonnie gives her a discount
— Lonnie has a talent for fashion so she helps her mother design some dresses. but Lonnie doesn't have the patience to make them
