Black and white screens were of the olden nature
Now color stains our lives

Through the Purples and Blues,
I'll still be with you
So please don't hide what's inside

Look at the girl with the snazzy red dress
Look at the green boy, do you think he's impressed?
No. He's sick. And you can see him paling

His face as white as paper

And paper is the item that comes from nature

Nature brings forth color every season
And with every season, color has new reason

The yellow sun just will not cope
The tinted clouds as thin as tight ropes
It doesn't help

Primarily primary colors seem to me
So bland and so empty

So Teal said to the color Gray, "Why don't you have a nice Crimson Day?"
"Okay," is simply what he said.
But scarlet is strictly what he bled.

It dripped down his eggshell shoes
Which were previously dirtied from mushy muddy hues

Turquoise shook his head saying,
"I'm going to bed with my wife Lemon, she's simply divine.
And we're planning on having Lemon-Lime!"

Rose sat down in her old wooden chair
Magenta played 'round with her neon colored hair
Forest made carvings down in the sand
Peach leaped left and right doing handstands

My life's canvas is now complete
With the colors each set before me

I choose which ones I plan to keep
And use ones for different weeks

Although we don't always get to choose our colors
They are with us everyday
