The heat finds my face with an engulfing flame.
The ember's warmth hugs the pale skin kissing it red.

My eyes dance with the burning glow of the crackling coal,
Sending pure electricity through my aching soul.

The sizzle of the empowering flames devour the log.
Goosebumps envelope my body,
While unnaturally healing thoughts lift the fog.

Exhilarating burst of clarity snatch my brain,
Reviving true happiness all in one day.

Swirl of memories clamped down into a parade,
Revealing awe-inspired intentions of God's unexpected visit.

After catching the significance of being more than a face in the mirror,
God cripples the shower of heat,
Sending it into an ash figure.

*Peiskos - (n.)the feeling you get when you sit in front of a fireplace and enjoy its warmth.
