Every time she walks in the hallways she sees a person who has hurt her.
She walks with her head down hoping. Just hoping they won't hurt her again.
They walk past her as if they did nothing.
That they did not hurt her.
But when they walk past her she instantly remembers all those times they hurt her.
All the times they decided it was ok to take her rights away.
To tell her not to talk. Not to scream.
But yet she couldn't do that anyway.
She stopped dead in her tracks and froze because she couldn't handle the anxiety that was building up in her body.
She wants to scream she want to yell.
But then she has to remember.
I can't draw attention to myself.
I have to be normal.
But I am not normal.
I am anything but normal.
But as any other normal person does she carries on walking to her next class.
As she walks down the halls hurting at the sight of everyone that hurt her.
She is trembling
But she keeps walking.
