I rolled over in my bed and pulled you close
But you weren't even there
Oh how I missed your perfect smile
And that messy blonde hair.
I got up and looked at then sunrise
The sky was no longer blue
Oh how I missed the days
I spent walking with you
I felt the tears roll down my face
As these memories ran through my mind
Oh how I wish that life was a movie
So I could press rewind
I wish I could erase all these reminders
That always lead back to you
So I can live my life without tears
And forget what you put me through.
As I wipe away my tears
And try to get some rest
I can not stop myself from taking away all of my numbness
I walk into the bathroom
Looking at the scars that have already been
A grab a razor
And slide it over my already throbbing skin.
One cut
Two cuts
Three cuts
Four
Blood was dripping onto the floor
Five cuts
Six cuts
Seven cuts
Eight
I continue
Thinking that death was my fate
Nine cuts
Ten cuts
Eleven cuts
More
I soon clean up and walk out of the bathroom door
I fall asleep again with an emotionless face
Dreaming of nothing but beautiful days
Sleep is my escape
From these feelings that are so blue
Oh look at all of the things one person can do.
