Sam's POV
"Don't you remember us Min Jae? We're your real family!" The ajumma exclaimed while me on the other side is speechless
"I.. Uh..." I stuttered, but she just kept smiling at me
After minutes of being speechless I went back to my senses and found my voice "How come you're my real family? I mean, how?" I asked
"Remember when you we're seven years old? When we were at the mall? I lost you there. But I didn't stop looking for you even if you're already missing for ten years" she paused "And now that I found you, I wont let you go anymore" she continued
"Uh...how are you so sure that I'm Min Jae?"
"Because you're my daughter, and as a mother I can feel that you're really are Min Jae" she smiled
I looked back at my brother who's listening to our whole conversation p, I can tell he's surprised too
"Oppa" I said in a low tone "I'll call our parents" he said then went to his room
"I know you still don't believe us Min Jae, but we can spend the whole day for you to get to know us" she said with a smile but a teary eyes
"But ajumma-" she cutted me "Eomma, Min Jae, Eomma Jaerin" she smiled again, then my brother went out of his room with my laptop
"Our parents wants to talk to you sir, ma'am" he politely said and they nodded, he handed them the laptop and tapped my shoulders "Come with me for a bit sis" he said I nodded and followed him
Jaerin's POV
I know it's hard for Min Jae to believe us, but I still have time to prove her that I'm telling the truth
Her brother said their parents wants to talk to us we agreed and they both went to the boys room
"Annyeong sir ma'am" they greeted "Annyeongsaeyo" we greeted back
"I'm going straight to the point Ms...?" the woman asked "Lee, Lee Jaerin" I answered she nodded
"Let's introduce our selves first, I'm Mei Jezzel Valdez and this is my husband" She pointed and looked at the man "Lian Valdez" she smiled
"Well as you already know I'm Lee Jaerin and this is my husband Park Minyuk" I introduced
"Well Mrs Lee, I heard you said you're the real family of our Samantha?" She questioned
"Yes, we are Mrs Valdez" I answered
"Um, Mrs Lee, we do believe that you really are her real parents, but ma'am we promised her, that even if she finds her real family she still can run to us whenever she needs us, that's the only thing we need you to promise" she explained
"That won't be a problem Mrs Valdez, we are sure to keep that promise. So it's settled. And Mrs Valdez we are planing to take her out today, is that okay?" I asked
"Yes indeed that's okay, and um we'll start to settle the papers now Mrs Lee and Mr Park" she said again
"Arrasseo, we'll be going now Mr and Mrs Valdez and also, we'll help you to settle the papers" I smiled then the call got dropped
Then out of nowhere Min Jae and her brother showed up
"We already talked to your parents Min Jae, they're preparing the papers for us" I said she just nodded
"And also, we said that you're going out with us today, is that okay with you?"
"Ah, yes ajum- I mean eomma" she smiled
"Okay let's go. Um Min Jae, what's the name of your brother?" I asked
"I'm Ace ma'am" he answered I smiled in response
Sam's POV
Appa, is driving the car with eomma on the passenger seat and I'm at the back seat
The car stopped at a galant restaurant I stared at it in awe
"Let's go Min Jae~ah" eomma called I smiled at nodded
We ordered our food I only ordered a lasagna and iced tea cause I'm not feeling hungry at this state, but for my real parents' sake I have to, so they won't be worried
We were eating when my eomma tapped me, I looked at her "Are you full?" She asked "Uh? Ah ne eomma" I answered
"Uh eomma, do I have siblings?" I asked out of nowhere, they looked at each other then smiled
"Yes indeed you have siblings you have an older sister and an older brother"
"Eomma, I don't want to be disrespectful but um I don't know your names yet" I smiled awkwardly
"Mianhae Min Jae, my name is Lee Jaerin and this is your appa Park Minhyuk" she introduced
"Ah" I said while slowly nodding
"But eomma, can I ask you a favor?" I asked she nodded
"I'll be going home to the Philippines next week as planed, but since I already met you, I have to extend, but please let me go home with my brother and bid my Filipino parents goodbye" I pleaded
They looked at each other at before me "Since the papers aren't settled yet you can sweetie" my appa said while smiling
"Jinjja!? Omo! Gomawo!" I exclaimed in happiness "You can still be with them for one week before going here" my eomma smiled and I smiled back
We finished eating then they offered me to go to their house for a bit so I know where to go I gladly accepted it
"We're here Min Jae" my appa said I smiled in response 'Omo! Their house is big!' I thought "Come on in Min Jae" my eomma guided me
We were welcomed by a beautiful lady 'She must be my unnie!' I thought again "Eomma uh...?" I can see many questions on her face "Don't tell me this is Min Jae?" She asked 'Omo, doesn't she like me?' I thought and looked down my mom nodded at her question "Jinjja!?" She exclaimed I looked up to her she quickly hugged until I can't breath "Unnie" I tapped her shoulders "Oh mian" she said while letting go of me I went to eomma and whispered "Eomma where's my oppa?" I asked "Maybe he went to his work" my eomma said while smiling I just nodded
They brought me back to our aunt's house and bid farewell, I promised to see them next week after I come back and they hugged me like there's no tomorrow
I talked to my aunt about it and said oppa already told her the story. I went to my room and decided to call mom and dad for a bit. "Mom! Dad!" I said as soon as I saw them on screen "Sam!" They said in unison I can see the sadness in their eyes knowing that in one week I'll be leaving them already. We talked about a lot of things they also said that they already fixed my school papers so I can transfer in one of schools here in Seoul I said okay "Iloveyou mom dad, see you next week" I said "We loveyoutoo Sam. Goodnight" mom said then dropped the call, I already told them about me going home next week to bid them farewell in personal, but I promised to visit them every time we have break from school and they were happy about it
I laid in my bed until I fell asleep "Goodnight Sam" I heard my brother said before I really fall sleep, I slept here in his room tonight because I said this is once in a lifetime he laughed at my statement I just rolled my eyes at him, and also because maybe this will be the last time we'll be together he just messed my hair in protest
