Sam's POV

"Kevin?" I bluntly asked with my eyes widened, he's here my ex! He smiled at me and spoke "Nice to see you again Sam, I heard you found your real family" he smiled again seeing him reminds me of our bitter past "I came here to see you, and fortunately I saw you, how lucky I am" he proudly said

"See here Sam, I'm really really sorry about what happened-" I cut him "Let's not talk about that Kevin. I'm going now, my mom must be worried" I said and was about to walk away but he stopped me "Sam listen I'm sorry about what happened 2 years ago I was blinded by love and after I left you I regretted everything I have done to you, please give me another chance!" He pleaded

I smiled bitterly at him "You think sorry will do? I'm so stupid for not noticing you having an affair with Clara, I'm so stupid not noticing you having an affair with my bestfriend! Oh wait let me rephrase that, my old bestfriend!" I said then started tearing up I shut my eyes as my tears started rolling down my cheeks

"I'm not letting you go Sam!" He said

Without uttering a word I left him and started walking to our house. I reached our house and wiped my tears and flashed a smile before entering

"I'm home!" I yelled with my fake smile "Mom here's the groceries I'm going to my room for a while" I smiled again she nodded

I flopped to my bed and started crying silently

Flashback...

I'm here at our house when I remembered Kevin, I should visit him in their house

I changed my clothes with my simple ones before exiting our house. I decided to stop by at a coffee shop then someone caught my eye Kevin I smiled widely not until I saw who was with him Clara, my bestfriend, I watched them as they make out in my back until today 'I'm so stupid!' I said to myself and started to tear up

I called Kevin I saw their annoyed reaction "Hello sweetie?" He sweetly asked
"Where are you?" I asked
"I'm at my grandma's house. Why?" He answered
"Really? Okay!" I dropped the call then stepped inside the cafe

They noticed my appearance and their eyes widened "Is this your grandma's house?" I sarcastically asked he wasn't talking and just stared at me "We're over!" I stated and trowed the necklace he gave me before storming out of the cafe

The thing that hurts is that he didn't even follow me or anything he just sat there like nothing happened

After that day we never saw each other again, I just heard the new that he's going to Australia and Clara and him broke up

After that I never saw him again nor Clara

Until I saw him today, he's back from Australia I guess? My phone vibrated and showed and unknown number I answered it without any hesitation

"Hello? Who's this?" I asked
"It's me Sam" Kevin, how did he get my number?
"What do you want!?" I asked with my hoarse voice
"Are you okay? Are you crying?" He asked acting like a worried boyfriend
"You're not my boyfriend so now what do you want!?" I asked again I heard him sigh on the other line
"Can you please meet me? At **** cafe? Please I'll be waiting" he pleaded I sighed before ending the call

I stood up from my bed and went to my bathroom to take a shower. After I took a shower I changed to my simple clothes before exiting my room

"Mom, I'll be leaving for a while!" I smiled at her "Sure. Go home before dinner" I nodded
