Stoffel knew growing up was hard. He knew you'd spread out your wings and fly away from him. And he let you, he let you chase your dreams as they didn't lay with him in the racing world. You wanted to study, read and know the world, which wasn't possible with him on your side.

You were eighteen when you made that decision and Stoffel understood, he wanted you to be able to reach that what you wanted to reach. You have been together since high school, lovebirds since you were twelve and god it was hard to let him go.

Stoffel missed you so much, the ache in his heart wasn't stilled after years of breaking up. The Belgian never called it breaking up though, your ways didn't part because of a fight or something like that. He was becoming more successful with the days and you wanted to give him that space to grow in the racing world.

He felt alone many times, he hesitated to call you as you were maybe busy with reading or working and he didn't want to interrupt you, but he wanted to hear your voice so dearly. Stoffel needed to hear that angelic voice that always calmed him down and cheered him up.

You never deleted the pictures you had together on your Instagram, hell even the background of your laptop was a picture of you two on the beach of Costa Brava, your first holidays together. You still had two years to finish this study and you were determined to get the diploma, however you never missed Stoffel any less.

Stoffel simply couldn't hook up with someone else. He couldn't. Your loving touch so fresh in his mind that still made him dizzy whenever he thought about it. Today in Monaco he needed to concentrate, this was a risky track and he shouldn't be thinking about you now.

Your study became harder and harder and you felt all on your own. You had thrown your books away and directly booked a flight to Monaco, you needed to see him, needed to feel his strong arms around and needed to hear his voice. You scoffed at yourself for even thinking you'd get over him.

Stoffel smiled and waved at his fans, reaching out to take the pen from a kid and kneeling down to sign his shirt. He took more cards and signed them. You could see him from a distance, but the guards didn't give you any access to get closer to him. "Stoff!". You called and got your elbows out to run his way.

"Let me go!". Stoffel looked up at the too familiar voice and his blood froze in bloodstream. The voices of the crowd seemed to fade away, the F2 cars that were driving on the track didn't reach his ears anymore. Stoffel's heart started to beat faster and you finally managed to jump through, running his way while the guards went after you.
