It's going to be a slow death for Peeta. Too bad there isn't any one to watch. And then I spot eyes. I shoot and I think I got them in between the eyes. I go to retrieve the arrow and when I turn back, the girl from 7 is with Peeta. My first instinct is to shoot her, but I don't. I tackle her. She is surprised and before she can hurt me, I take her knife away and stab her. She's dead, and the other boy is too. Two cannons fire. Turns out their both from 7. I use her knife to do what Clove did to me on Peeta. A slow death. I trace his lips that I used to know. One teasing round and then for real. I dig into his flesh before realizing he's moving. I tie him up and continue. His face is red with blood and fleshy already.

"Having fun?" I say carelessly. I look around and there isn't anyone yet. Peeta has a good stash of stuff I could see. It must have been an hour before I decide I want him in pieces. Using the knife, I cut him up, piece by piece. His legs, detached. Before I know it, his cannon fires. I yell a yell of triumph and sense a knife. I deflect it with my bow, take Peeta's stuff, the knife I deflected, and disappear.
