Ten Dollars
To ninety rand my friend
My lover my soul have you seen it today
Tomorrow and years before in dreams of
Spain and
France
The soaring beggars and floating muds
Ten dollars to the rich
Ten more extra slices of cheese
Hold the onions tomatoes and fried
Horse
Ten dollars to pulp
To flying saucers and mixed metaphors
And incest and insects
Ten dollars to ninety rand
Ninety rand to two meals from
Maccy D’s and back to ten
Dollars
