She waited in the common room until 11:00. Teddy came up and sat on the chair across from her.
Victoire set down the book that she was reading. It was called Trapped.
"Hi Teddy. What did you want to talk to me about?"
"Well I I was won-wondering." He stuttered. "If you would like to be my girlfriend?" He whispered
the last part.
"Of course, I would love to be your girlfriend. I've loved you since that day at the pond."
Teddy breathed out; relieved. Suddenly he leaned in for a kiss. When Teddy kissed her she didn't
argue. She just kissed back. A few minutes later they let go to breath.
"Look I'm sorry Victoire. I probably shouldn't have done that. I jut couldn't help it. And will you go
to Hogesmade with me tomorrow?"
"It's fine Teddy. I enjoyed it. Thank you. And of course I'll go with you to Hogesmade to tomorrow. Now I'm going to go to bed. Good night." She gave Teddy a quick peck on the cheek and went to
fall asleep.
"Tell us everything!" Said Maddy as soon as Victoire entered the room.
"Earlier today he sent me a letter telling me to meet him tonight in the common room. So I did. He
asked me to be his girlfriend."
"Did you say yes?" Asked Sapphire.
"Of course I did Sapphire. I wanted him to ask me for forever. Then he kissed me."
"Did you kiss him back?" Asked Marie.
"Yes. I did. Then he asked me to Hogesmade tomorrow!" She said. "And of course I said yes Emily." She added noticing that Emily was about to ask her something.
"That's awesome Victoire." Said Maddy.
"I know. I'm going to bed. It's midnight and I need to sleep for tomorrow."
She changed into her pajamas and climbed into bed. Within seconds she was fast asleep.
The next morning she woke up on her own. She opened her trunk and found a pink dress that went
to just above the knees and had spaghetti straps. She also found a pair of light brown cowboy
boots. She went into the bathroom and changed into those. She lightly curled her hair and put
some red lipstick and white eyeshadow on. She finally put on a black cropped leather jacket.
In the common room she saw Teddy waiting for her.
"You look amazing Victoire." He said speechless.
"Thanks. Now let's go get some breakfast; I'm starving."
They hooked arms and went down to the Great Hall. They sat down at the end of the table and
started eating. Victoire took some toast, bacon, and sausage. Teddy took eggs, pancakes, bacon,
sausage, and toast. They both also took a donut.
"Okay let's go Victoire. The sooner we leave, the longer time we have in Hogesmade." Teddy said
once they had finished breakfast.
"Okay. Let's go." And once again they hooked arms. They walked out of the castle and into
Hogesmade.
"Where do you want to go first?" Asked Teddy.
"How 'bout Honeydukes? I need to get some more treats."
"Sure, let's go." They walked into Honeydukes. Victoire looked at Chocolate while Teddy looked at
spell candy.
Victoire was about to put her purchases on the counter when Teddy stopped her. "Let me do it."
She reluctantly let him. Teddy put his spell candy and Victoire's chocolate on the counter.
"4 galleons." Said the man at the counter. Teddy handed him the money. Then they left.
"Okay, what now?" Asked Teddy.
"Well we could always go to the Three Broomsticks." Victoire replied. Teddy liked the idea so they
went there.
"Can you please get me a BLT and butterbeer?" She asked.
"Sure thing. You go sit down and I'll meet you there." Victoire went over to an empty table. She sat
down and waited until Teddy came.
When Teddy came a few minutes later he had her sandwich and drink. She immediately started
eating. Teddy didn't finish until a few minutes after her. After that they just drank their butter
beer.
"Want to go for a walk Teddy?"
"Sure Victoire. I would love to." So they went outside and started walking. Soon enough though it
started to rain. "We should probably run Victoire." He said. They just started running back to the
castle. Less than ten minutes later they were back at the castle.
"I am going to go shower. I'll talk to you later."
"I'll see you later." He said. "Oh, and Victoire." He added. "Thanks for an amazing day." He smiled
and walked away.
Victoire walked upstairs and changed into a turquoise dress. She pulled her long blond hair into a
ponytail and washed off her makeup.
"So...How was your date?" Said Emily; sneaking up behind Victoire.
"Don't do that Emily! And it wasn't a date"
"Yes it was. Every outing with your boyfriend is a date."
"Fine!" Victoire said giving up. "It was a real date."
"I knew that I would win." Said Emily smirking. Victoire just rolled her eyes. Emily always smirked
when she said stuff like that. She never saw the point of smirking.
