Adrian's P.O.V.

I go to limp home from school, but hear a pain howl. I turn towards the woods and run towards the noise, completely forgetting about my injured leg. I see a giant white wolf, with a deep cut on it's leg. I sigh, it isn't my place to help this ani- The@ wolf howls in pain again. Damn it, hopefully father isn't home. I turn towards the wolf and rip my shirt to rap her leg. Then, I pull her mostly onto my back, and begin to limp home. My limp now worse.

Cameron's P.O.V.

Why the hell is he helping me, I thought to myself as he carried me on his back from where he found me on the forest floor. I was supposed to die. Then he hit a bump in the sidewalk making it to where he gripped my injured leg harder. I howled loudly in pain. "Sorry, Girl." Sorry my ass. He pulls me up higher on his back so he wouldnt touch my injury again. Finally he walked up to the door of a run down house, pulling out a key to unlock the door.

As, I unlock the door a glass bottle hits me on the shoulder. I winces, but keep walking in. I glad it didn't hit her. But, as I go up the stairs to my room, my leg give out from the pain and I let go of the wolf. Only to hear father coming for me. Damn, he's drunk again. I close my eyes, ready for the pain.

Cameron's P.O.V.

Damn, he's drunk again. As I landed on the floor, then I hear his father coming up the stairs. When he reaches the last step, he starts to stalk over to us. On instinct I jump in between them and let out a menacing growl. He stops and I see fear in his eyes. Good. He should be scared.

Adrian's P.O.V.

I slowly get up, and step in front of the she-wolf. "Stop." I say to both, taking the hits from father. Afterwards, I just pull the ladder down for the attic, and pick up the wolf. I slowly climb up the ladder, then sit her on my thin blanket, and go downstairs to make sure, she didn't hurt father. I hope he okay, as well as her.

I shift to my human form an huddle in a far corner in his room, waiting for him to come back up.

I take a few more hits, but father is fine. I climb into my room and see a nake girl huddled in the far corner, only about 4 feet away. I shake my head, how hard did father hit me? I tilt my head, then go back downstairs and steal a robe for the stranger from father. I climb back up and throw it at her, never looking in her direction. The room's spinning, I wonder why. Then everything goes black.
