"Momma, wake up," Jamie said crawling onto his mothers bed, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, Veronica looked up to see a pair of Hazel eyes looking at her with wonder, "Mommas up baby," Veronica said sleepily her arms opened wide for Jamie who with out a second thought ran into his mother embrace "Happy birthday baby boy, your 6, lets go down so I can make your special birthday breakfast," The brown eyed woman stated sternly but then bursts into a fit of giggles, "Chocolate pancakes?" Asked Jamie giving his mother the best pair of puppy eyes, 'just like your father' Veronica thought looking at the cute little boy, "Yes, baby go get Padfoot," Veronica said getting up and tugging her silk dressing gown on, and made her way down the stairs to the kitchen, putting the pancake mix in the pan she heard a pair of feet running down the oak staircase, his toy dog under his hand which he ironically named 'Padfoot'his dark curls bouncing up and down his eyes lite with pure innocence and excitement, as he stared at the vast pile of presents covering their living room table as if in a trance he made his way over but was stopped abruptly by his mothers voice, "No presents till you eat you breakfast little man," Veronica said dropping the chocolate chips into the sizzling pan, knowing he won't get anywhere he plopped himself on his usual seat at the dining table,his eyes lighting up even more as his mother held up his breakfast and gave it to him, as his eyes darted at her with innocence, "Happy birthday baby,"
