Monday fell on Linda like a brick. Urgh Mondays. She loved uni. Art was her thing. But still... it felt good to have no weight on her shoulders. She had animation first- not her. She'd always preferred to paint. Get her hands dirty. Feel the brush between her fingers. And dragging the brush across the canvas, applying the required pressure. She loved the control that was required in painting. But painting also made her feel liberated. It was amazing, the contradicting feelings overriding her nervous system. She just didn't get that sort of thrill when she worked on a computer. But still. It was cool to see her works come to life.
These thoughts ran through her brain as she sat in front of the graphic tablet, working on her next piece. The teacher occasionally walked over and helped her out or complimented her work. She'd finished about a quarter of her ten minute video when the bell rang indicating that she'd have to get to her next class.
She walked out of the door, books in hand, looking straight. Confidence exuding off of her. She hated to walk with her head down. She was a woman of pride. She ran her hand through her hair trying to remember what she had next. As she searched her thoughts, she felt arms wrap around her waist. They pulled her close to a body and soon there was a head on her shoulder and lips on her cheek.
"Hey baby," Jime's voice was so husky that it made Linda weak in her knees. She she sighed as Jime's fingers tangled with her belt loops and she started kissing her neck.
"GET A ROOM!"
"Says who?" Linda countered as she watched Sam appear from a corner with a smirk on his face.
"I bloody knew you were lesbian. My gaydar is never wrong!"
"Shut up..."
Jime chuckled, "You never told your friends you were gay?"
"I told my friends, he just isn't one of them."
"Heyyy," he said, trying to sound hurt, "I'm offended."
"Whatever," Linda said, rolling her eyes, "So how are things with Blake?"
Sam blushed,"Actually quite good."
"Okay, so if you would excuse us now, I want to talk to my gir... very special friend here."
Sam rolled his eyes, "I have to get to class anyways, nice kinda meeting you..."
"Jimena."
"Jimena," he completed."
Once he was gone, Linda turned around to a frowning Jimena with one eyebrow raised.
"Special friend?"
"I said 'very' special," Linda defended.
"Oh come on!"
"I want the moment when I ask you to be special... kay? I'm a hopeless romantic, what do you expect?" Linda said pouting.
She shook her and sighed, "Damn it, your pout, urgh it makes your lips so damn kissable."
"And your kisssss unmissable, your fingertips so touchable, and your eyesss irresistible." Linda completed with the lyrics of a 1D song, Irresistible, grinning goofily.
