Return of the King (OC x Noctis)

Chapter 4

I couldn't help but growl as I felt the bullet in my leg push further into my skin with every move I made. I couldn't help but cry out in pain as I stood up and leaned against one of the rails that lead to the thrown. I watched as Gladiolus and Ignis stood in front of me, summoning their weapons to their side. The more balance I tried to gain, the more I fell down, and the blood stained the dress that I had been wearing. I growled and yet again tried to regain my balance. A loud scream came from beside me as Izzy was on the ground, her hands covering her head in a useless attempt to protect herself from the flying bullets around. 
"Prompto! Get Izzy out of here!" I barked at him, he nodded and picked up Izzy like she weighed nothing. 
"What about you?" He asked keeping his head down.
"I said go!" I growled at him to which he took off running down a random hall. Rose let out a sigh of relief as she knew Izzy would be safe with him. She let herself fall to the ground yet again and this time stayed down. She looked down at her leg which was pouring blood at this point, she hissed and tried to cover it with her dress and apply pressure. Noctis kneeled down beside her and made an attempt to pick her up to which she hissed at him. 
"Take care of the men first, I'm fine till then." Reluctantly Noctis stood up and began the small battle, Rose watched helplessly as she couldn't move but noticed the magic in the room was strong because of their revival. 
"Oracle! Behind you!" Rose panicked and looked behind her where a guard stood ready to stab her. She growled and lifted her hand. 
"Back off!" Rose squeaked, as a burst of fire magic exploded from her hand and sent the guard flying backwards. Noctis acted quickly, warp striking the guard and pinning him to the wall. 
"Don't touch her, you filth." Noctis growled before warping back to Rose who was surrounded by Gladiolus and Ignis who were already trying to address her wounds.
"Let's get you to a doctor." Noctis slipped his hand carefully under her knees and back as he picked her up bridal style. Rose hissed and gripped the cloth on his chest. He looked at her with apologetic eyes, but he knew she wasn't paying attention enough to notice.
"I'll handle her when we get to safety, there's no way anyone is living here." Ignis stated. Rose had closed her eyes by now as she couldn't see straight and fell into sleep. Noctis took notice of this and quickly found a bed to lay her down on. Ignis got to work straight away, pulling the bullet that was lodged in her leg, to which even Prompto looked away from. Stitching up everything with a careful and a blood transfusion, Rose woke up after a couple hours. 
"Where am I? What happened to the guards?" Rose asked immediately, panic filled every feature on her face. Izzy took her hand and smiled worriedly. 
"Your dumbass got yourself shot, and these four hunks took you to a room and fixed your leg and saved you, so why don't you say thank you?" Izzy stated trying to lighten the mood with her profound language and the fact that she was already hitting on the boys. Rose smiled and pat her head sarcastically. 
"Thanks captain obvious, I would have never known that hadn't you told me." The boys in the room chuckled at the two's interaction, Rose stopped and looked at them. "Thank you, all of you for helping us, and for getting Izzy to safety."
"We have you to thank you for Princess." Gladiolus smiled. 
"You brought us back and The King of Lucis, that's a pretty big deal." Prompto jumped in.
"It's our job to protect you now, as a way to repay you for bringing us back." Ignis pushed up his glasses which looked like sunglasses. Rose made a mental note of the injury on his eye and would make it a point to help him with it. 
"You're just important as me, Princess." Noctis smiled at Rose making her heart flutter a minute then she realized they all kept calling her Princess. 
"Why are you all calling me Princess?" 
"Aren't you one?" Prompto asked, tilting his head to the side making her think he was a puppy.
"No, never have been." Everyone stopped talking and looked at each other a moment before looking back at Rose. 
"You have to be, you couldn't have summoned us back any other way." Ignis concluded.
"I'm not royal, never have been. Sorry to disappoint." She answered with a brow raised at them. 
"We have to investigate this, immediately." Ignis stated grabbing a needle from the bedside. 
"Whoa whoa whoa! What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Rose growled at him.
"Blood sample." Ignis stated as a matter of fact like before digging the needle into Rose's arm with a yelp from her. 
"Hey dude chill!" Noctis growled at Ignis. 
"I will 'chill' when this is solved."
