The emptiness of my heart
Pain growing every second
A blurry image in my head
Opening my eyes with a start
As my chest lessens its pace
My heart burns of pain
Thinking of the face
That could be the missing piece
The key to bringing my misery to an end
Or starting the nightmares all over again
Head throbbing of heart ache
Anxiety increases as well do the screams
Trying to remember your name
I need to know
If you ever felt the same
The image appears in my pool of tears
But then replaced with a million thoughts
On why did I have to fall so hard
And be stuck with all the pain it brought
And be left with an unknown broken heart
