#32 You give birth to your second child

I was currently pregnant with Niall and i's second child which is a baby girl. We already have a 4 year old son together named Ethan and he is looking forward to becoming a big brother.

However, since  I am due to give birth anytime soon, he has been staying with Maura for a few days. It is easier that way for both me and Niall so that when i do go into labour we don't have to fuss around with Ethan, we can go straight to the hospital.

"It's quiet without Ethan around" I said and Niall agreed. "Not for long though because hopefully in the next week we will have a screaming baby to look after" he said and I agreed.

I stood up from the couch moving Niall's arms from around me. "Where are you going?" He asked.
"I'm just going to get changed into some comfort clothes" I told him. "Do you need any help?" He asked smirking. "No!" I said.
"Are you sure you don't want my help getting dressed? It's a one time offer" he said.
"No , Stop being so perverted you weirdo!" I said and he laughed.

Niall's POV

Y/n went upstairs to get dressed into some comfier clothes so I was in the sofa alone.

"NIALL!!!!!" I heard y/n shout. I shot up and quickly ran upstairs into our bedroom where she was.
"My water broke!" She said. "Uh..okay? Umm wait there I'll get the baby bag" I said panicking.
I quickly ran into the pink nursery and retrieved the baby bag.
"Niall hurry up before I have this baby on the floor!" She said clutching her stomach.

I ran back into our bedroom and slung the baby bag over my shoulder and helped her.
"How am I supposed to get you downstairs?" I asked. "I don't know! Just get me to hospital now!" She screamed. I quickly picked her up bridal style and carried her downstairs and outside helping her in the car.

****at the hospital****

Your POV

Niall had texted everyone feeling them that I had gone into labour and they said they would be here as soon as possible.

I quickly grabbed Niall's hand and squeezed it. "Contraction?" He asked and I nodded.

The doctor came in to check how dilated I am.
"Your 10cm dilated, time to deliver this baby!" The Doctor said.

I held Niall's hand so I could squeeze it if I needed to.

"On the count of 3 push, 1..2...3...push!" She instructed.
I pushed as hard as I could for ten seconds, squeezing Niall's hand. A few tears escaped my eyes as I pushed. "I can see the head! Keep pushing!" She said.
I took a breath and kept pushing. "Come on princess you can do this, I love you so much" Niall whispered.

"Last push and she'll be here" the doctor said.
"3...2...1 push!" She instructed.

I pushed as hard as I could and squeezed Niall's hand.

I suddenly heard the piercing cry of a newborn baby. The doctor held her up so I could see her.
"It's a girl! Do you want to cut the cord?" She asked Niall who nodded eagerly standing up.
The doctor gave him the scissors to cut her cord and he did.

The doctor took the baby out of the room to get cleaned up and to have tests done to make sure she's healthy.
"I'm so proud of you, you have given me the two best gifts I could ask for" Niall said meaning his children. I smiled and pecked his lips. "I'm exhausted!" I said.
"I know baby, do you think you can stay awake for ten more minutes they're bringing her back soon" he said and i nodded.

The doctor reentered the room with a bundle of blankets in her arms. And in those blankets was our baby girl.

"And here is your little girl, born on the 12th of September , weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces" the doctor said passing the bundle of pink blankets to Niall.

He carefully walked towards me and sat next to me on the bed with the baby on his arms.
She moved her arms and legs a little bit and opened her eyes, which were the same as Niall's.
"She's gorgeous" I whispered looking at the baby. "Daddy's little princess" Niall said and I chuckled.

Niall carefully passed her to me and I held her in my arms. "She's bigger than what Ethan was" I said and Niall agreed.
"So do you have a name or your little girl?" The doctor asked. "Aaliyah Grace Horan" I said and the doctor nodded leaving the room.

"Are you up for visitors?" I heard Maura say as she poked her head around the door.
"Mum!" Niall said happily standing up to go hug his mum.
"Ethan" he said hugging our son.
"Where's my baby sister?" Ethan asked loudly. "You have to be quiet okay, you don't want to hurt her ears do you?" Niall told him . Niall picked Ethan up and held him near you so he could see the baby.
"We have the same eyes!" Ethan said excitedly and I chuckled.

@y/n_Horan: Today I became a mummy to another baby, a little girl this time. Niall , Ethan and I are incredibly happy with the new addition to our family. ❤️12/09/17❤️

@NiallOfficial: I would like to introduce my beautiful baby girl to the world. Born on the 12th of September weighing 7lbs 4onz. We are so happy that she is finally here and I know that Ethan is happy to have a little sister! X
