i've been trying to find some good meliodas x elizabeth fanfics and i can't find any someone hELP ME

note: a bit of harassment i guess

Sitting down at the bar, you let out a long, tired sigh as you rested your head in the palm of your hand.

"Tired?" Meliodas asked from behind the bar, and you nodded with a small smile.

"I haven't even done anything remotely taxing today," you replied. "Elizabeth, Diane and I just went for a walk to the kingdom, I don't get why I'm so tired."

"You went to Liones?" Ban inquired from the kitchen, which was literally right next to the bar, and you nodded. "That probably explains it, the kingdom is four miles away."

"It didn't seem that far to me," you muttered, and Meliodas looked around the tavern.

"So, where are Elizabeth and Diane?" He asked.

"Still in the kingdom," you answered, stretching your arms above your head. "Elizabeth said she had something to sort out with her father, and Diane volunteered to wait for her."

Meliodas wasn't really listening to what you were saying as much as he was staring at your chest when you stretched.

"Have I ever told you that that uniform looks really good on you?" He asked out of the blue, and you smiled.

"Yes. Multiple times," you answered.

"Well, I'll say it again," he purred, leaning closer so that his face was just inches away from yours. "That uniform looks really good on you."

Giggling, you leaned forward, closing the gap between the two of you with a short kiss.

"Thank you," you responded happily.

"You two are disgusting," Ban said from the kitchen, which the two of you ignored.

"Hey, can we get a couple beers over here please?"

"Yeah, over here too!"

You turned around to examine the tables and who had asked for the beers before getting up off of your stool and stretching again.

"Eight beers, please Meliodas," you stated, and your boyfriend nodded, grabbing eight mugs off the shelf.

"Coming up!" He exclaimed, and you smiled.

Meliodas wasn't stupid.

He knew you were gorgeous and that wherever you went, the eyes of a few uncanny gentlemen followed.

And he tried to ignore the looks you got, but most of the time, he would just send a glare at those who looked at you with lustful eyes and either wrap his arm around your waist or hold your hand to let people know you were his.

Meliodas rarely ever got angry, and he vowed to never let some ill-mannered men be the cause of an outburst.

"You think you can handle these?" He asked, placing the lag mug on the tray.

"Sure I can!" You exclaimed, picking up both trays - each holding four mugs of beer - effortlessly. "I may not be a sin, but I am stronger than I look."

With a wink, you headed over to the two tables who requested the drinks, placing one of the trays on the first table and turning around to go to the next.

But, before you could get very far, someone from the table behind you decided to slap your bottom, causing you to squeal out in surprise and lose your balance, plus the second tray of mugs you were holding, falling over and spilling the beer over a nearby customer.

"A-ah, I'm sorry!" You stuttered out an apology, and the man in front of you laughed.

"I'll accept your apology little lady if you let me touch you a little bit, how about that?" He asked, and your eyes widened a little.

"Eh...?" You asked in confusion, but before anybody else could get a word in, Meliodas was on top of the table where the man was sitting at, holding him by the collar of his shirt.

His eyes were clouded with anger, and for the first time ever, you were scared of Meliodas.

"Say that again," he said lowly, and the tavern fell silent. "Say it again!"

"I-I didn't mean any harm by it, I swear!" The man raised his arms to surrender. "You know men..."

"No...I don't," Meliodas replied, the tone in his voice unlike anything you'd ever heard before, and all you could do was watch. "But what I do know is that you people are disgusting, and you have five seconds to get out of my bar before I resort to violence."

The men made no hesitation in scrambling out of the tavern, and Hawk was doing a good job of evacuating the other customers, to which none of them resisted or argued.

Soon enough, the bar was empty apart from you, Meliodas, Ban, Hawk and King - who was upstairs and probably oblivious to what was going on right now.

"Meliodas?" You asked quietly as he helped you up, dusting off your uniform. "Hey, it's ok."

Meliodas didn't say anything, and you could still see the anger in his eyes. He yanked his arm out of your grip and stormed out of the tavern, making a point by slamming the door behind him.

You were about to follow him when Ban called out to you.

"You've never seen him angry before, have you?" He asked, and you looked over at him.

"No..." You answered quietly, and Ban nodded.

"Cap'n needs some time to himself, you can go see if he's ok a bit later," he explained, and you nodded. "But are you ok? That slap sounded like it hurt."

You laughed dryly. "Yeah, it did. But I'll be fine, it's Meliodas I'm worried about."

"He'll be fine after a bit of alone time, trust me."

You gave Meliodas three hours before you couldn't take it anymore.

You needed to know if he was ok.

"I'm heading out, Ban!" You called out to the Fox's Sin, and quickly left the tavern, immediately spotting Meliodas sitting on the grass outside.

You sat down next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, which caused him to look at you.

"Hey," you smiled softly, and Meliodas stared at you for a second, his eyes scanning your face before he lurched himself forward and onto you, hugging you so tightly you thought he would suffocate you.

"I'm sorry," he whispered, and you ran your hands through his blonde hair reassuringly.

"Why are you sorry?" You asked with a small laugh, and Meliodas hugged you tighter.

"I don't know," he whined. "I'm sorry you have to go through things like that nearly on a daily basis. I'm sorry that I can't do anything to prevent it from happening. I'm sorry..."

You pulled away from Meliodas and cupped his face in your hands.

"None of that is your fault," you stated firmly. "The world is just a seriously messed up place, and no one's blaming you for that. I'm just glad that you care enough to evict people from your own bar, and I'm even more glad that you didn't use violence. It proves you're stronger than all of those men combined. And I couldn't care less what those men say, because the only man I'm focusing on right now is you."

And with that, you leaned forward and kissed him deeply, showing him that it really was ok for him to be overprotective sometimes, otherwise what kind of boyfriend would he be?
