Percy was still falling. He thought it had been days of falling, when really, he just jumped into Tartarus about an hour ago.

Currently he was thinking of ways to pass the time. He already tried playing patty-cake with the wall, he got a couple of burns. He was out of ideas.

He started to play rock-paper-scissors with himself. His right hand kept on losing to his left.

That's when he got the best idea of the century. Do push-ups! He started to do push ups in the air, but alas, he couldn't turn his body the correct way.

He started to think of more ideas to help him pass the time when he saw that the ground was about 5 miles away.

Now 5 miles is a lot. But when you're approaching the ground at about 100-140 miles per hour, it passes by quickly.

He started to pull shadows near him to, 'soften' his landing. When the shadows solidified, which was when he was very close to being squashed, he landed, but gave a painful grunt.

He started to get up, but was immediately pushed down by the amount of power the darkness was producing. The darkness solidified and in place stood a man, with power rolling off him in waves.

Percy attempted to stand, but was stuck in a sitting position. He finally managed to stand and pull his sword out. He pointed Nightmare at the being.

"Ca-can you not l-like kill m-me." Percy managed to say as the being's aura radiated more furiously. But, Percy refused to back down as he stood straighter.

The man's dark, black eyes seemed to glint in amusement at the God in front of him. "Well, I wouldn't want to kill a fellow immortal of darkness, now would I?" The man said.

Percy raised his eyebrow and finally let out a sigh of relief as the man's aura was diminished.

"So, you're not going to kill me?" Percy asked.

"No." The man simply replied.

"Well if not, then why are you here?" Percy asked impatiently. The man let out a sigh at his impatience, but proceeded to answer anyways.

"To put it blunt, I'm fading, I need another darkness deity to give the rest of my powers to. And since the Olympian of darkness, just happened to be in Tartarus, I will bestow upon you, the rest of my powers."

Percy growled when the deity said Olympian. "Ex-Olympian actually." Percy spat. The man just nodded. Percy's angry look turned to the one of confusion.

"Why do you need to give the rest of your powers to another being?" Percy questioned, now interested. The man sighed again.

"For me to truly fade, I must rid myself of all power." The man said.

Percy seemed to understand and expressed it with a nod. The man smiled.

"Now let's move onto this so I can finally return to my other family members." The man said smiling. Percy nodded. The man then started to chant in Ancient Greek.

"Εγώ ο Erebus, ο Primordial of Darkness, παραχωρεί τις υπόλοιπες δυνάμεις μου πάνω στο Θεό του Σκορπιού. (I Erebus, the Primordial of Darkness, bestow the rest of powers, onto the God of Darkness.)

Percy's jaw immediately dropped, when he finally added it up, that the man in front of him was Erebus. He was about to bow but then felt excruciating pain that hurt ten times more than being in the River Styx.

Yes, he had been in the River Styx. He had been messing around with Hades when he fell in. It was fairly painful.

When the pain stopped, he looked up to see Erebus flickering. Erebus smiled once before waving slightly to Percy.
