"Tae-hyung!"

Jiwoo glanced up from her desk. A stunningly beautiful and alluring girl was making her way to the desk of the man she was adamantly trying to ignore. All morning she could feel his stare bore into her back as she read report after report. It didn't help that her desk was adjacent to his. The close proximity was torture and she badly wanted the day to end already.

"What is it, Somin?" she heard Tae-hyung say.

"I found your glasses," Somin announced. "You left them in the cafeteria yesterday, by the way."

Startled, Jiwoo peeked at them over her shoulder. She didn't know, she never knew Tae-hyung needed glasses. Soomin was brandishing said glasses and Jiwoo watched as she daintily put them on top of Tae-hyung's desk.

Tae-hyung sighed. "Thanks. I'm fucking useless without them."

Somin smiled fondly at him. "Then don't lose them next time."

"And cut your hair," Woo-jin yelled from the door. He entered the department, waving a piece of paper in his hand. "Got you the memo for smoking."

Tae-hyung groaned as he reached for his glasses. "You're such a hardass, Woo-jin."

Jiwoo watched Tae-hyung push his hair back and put on his glasses. Tae-hyung's eyes went to her when he did and a numbing sensation crept over her skin when she read the recognition dawn on him.

Oh no...

***************

Everyone turned to look at her.

Red-faced and thoroughly embarrassed, Jiwoo dropped to her knees and picked up the books she had dropped on the floor.

He's here, she thought frantically.

The boy who saved the puppy was here in the library.

When she finally had gathered all the books, she darted to the nearest shelf and hid behind it. Peering through the gap above the line of books, she looked at the boy. He was sitting near the back of the library, reading a book. And, God. Now that she'd seen him dry and wearing his uniform properly, she couldn't help but feel butterflies in her stomach.

Had he always been that good looking?

And he reads!

With startling realization, Jiwoo realized it was the first time she'd ever been interested in the opposite . She turned and leaned her back on the shelf, holding her books tight in her arms.

Is this what love is? she thought with wide eyes.

Was she in love with him?

***************

"Jiwoo?" Tae-hyung muttered her name softly. "You're her, aren't you?"

Everyone's eyes were on her. Everyone in the department waited with abated breaths at the drama they knew was about to unfold. Jiwoo didn't know whether to crawl under table and hide or jump out of the window.

"W-what?" she stammered.

Tae-hyung stood up. A smile broke out from his lips. Then laughter.

"My God," he uttered between bouts of laughter. "I can't believe it."

"Believe what?" Woo-jin asked.

"I can't believe I actually saw her again," Tae-hyung said, smiling directly at the horrified Jiwoo,

Jiwoo squeezed her eyes tight.

"My stalker."
