Third pov
All of the guys got out of their vehicles, and walked inside the old abandoned mall, where Blackbeard is primarily hiding out. "Alright, all we're doing, is going in, getting Victoria back, giving Teach what he wants, then leave, okay, yoi?" Marco notified. "We can't risk a fight anyway, there's thousands of people in there, and there's only six of us. We'd get our asses kicked immediately." Thatch added. Ace huffed, "I still wanna get back at Teach for what he had done..." "We all do, Ace. But right now, getting Victoria back is more important, we can deal with Teach later." Thatch advised. "Anyway, we're not going to spread out. We're all going to stay together, yoi." Marco said. "That means no wandering off, Zoro.." Sanji muttered. "OI-" "We don't have time for that! Lets just go! I want my friend back" Luffy urged. And with that, they all went inside.
Marco was at the front, as he had snuck into this hideout many times in the past. He'd always sneak in here, to spy on Blackbeard, this is so that if Blackbeard was planning anything, Marco could immediately report back to Whitebeard, and inform him of what's going on. Itami sees it as a complete waste of time, and just wants Blackbeard to be dealt with already. Ace, of course, does not know of this, as if he were to find out, he would immediately rush in, and get himself killed by either Blackbeard himself, or by the Marines.
'We're going to get you back Victoria...I swear to god, if you were injured, I would most probably kill the bastard, yoi.'
The group soon came to a halt when they spot a tall, slim man. He appeared to look like a tap dancer. Zoro, Sanji & Luffy flinched upon seeing him. "What are you doing here!?" Sanji growled. The tap dance man simply smirked, "Teach has been expecting all of you, so he asked me to fetch you, and lead you to where we're keeping that girl." Marco held back his rage, as many pictures of Victoria screaming, and being tied up in a cold, damp container. His nails dug into the skin of his palms. "How do you guys know him?" Thatch murmured. "He's a part of our school.., his name is Laffite." Sanji whispered. "I don't think we should trust him at all." Zoro stated. "Well we got no other choice-hey, Luffy!" They were all surprised when Luffy stepped up, "Show us where Victoria-chan is, right now!" Luffy demanded. "Luffy! Get back here!" Ace hissed. Laffite simply smiled, "Right this way." Before the guys could detest, they two began walking away.
'We've got no other options, and besides, its only him, yoi. If he tries anything, we can easily take him out before he calls for reinforcements, yoi. So long as we get Victoria back, yoi.'
Marco started walking after them. "Marco! Where are you going!?" Ace hissed. Marco looked back at them, "I'm going to go get my sister back, yoi. Now are you coming, or what, yoi?" Without a word, the others followed.
Meanwhile, back at Marco's place, Ussop & Nami anxiously sat in the lounge. They both sat on the couches, staring hard at the ground. "This had all be over quickly.." Ussop mumbles. "I'm so worried about Victoria...I really wish none of this didn't happen.." Nami sighs. Itami sat down on the opposite couch, "I know how you guys feel...mine & Kira's boyfriends went, and our best friend went as well, so we're all worried as hell as well." Itami adds, drinking some of Marco's beer. Kira fiddled with her hair, as it was a way to keep her calm. Itami looked over to Kira, and put her hand on her thigh, "How are you feeling?" Itami asked. Kira shook her head, "I feel like shit. I hate how he up and went like that...he really doesn't know of the danger he is putting himself in..." Kira muttered. Itami smiled softly, "Trust me, Marco will be safe. He's a tough guy, and can kick ass than most people." Itami assured.Kira couldn't help but worry. Marco was out there, possibly getting himself into big trouble, and she can't do anything to stop him from getting injured.
'What..what if he never comes back at all? What if he's far too injured to even work anymore?'
All of Kira's thoughts began to pile up. Itami's eyes widened when she saw Kira digging her long, sharp nails into the pillow, before ripping it up into pieces. Ussop squealed in surprise, while Nami jumped. Robin narrowed her eyes at the scene. "O-Oi oi oi!" Ussop stammered. "Kira. Calm down, its okay-" "What if Marco doesn't come back? What if he dies? What if he needs to have one of his limbs amputated? What if someone else dies? What if Victoria dies? What if-" Itami put her hand over Kira's mouth to silence her. "None of that is going to happen, you hear? They will come back, I'd stake my life on it. They..they have to come back!" Itami urged. Itami took her hand away. Kira averted her eyes, "Sorry..I...I'm just afraid.."
'Kira to admit that she is afraid is something huge. She's really worried.'
"I'm worried too...but you & I both know that those guys are mad strong. They will get Victoria back, and they will come back, with only a few scraps and bruises. Besides, you can heal them back up, right?" Itami assured. Kira rubbed the back of her neck, "R-Right..yeah, you're right!" Itami winked, "Of course I am..!"
'Grrrr.....but I'm always the one that's right!'
Suddenly, rapid knocks sounded at the front door. Everyone looked at each other nervously, before Kira, grabbed a kitchen knife, and went over to the front door. Kira cautiously grabbed the door handle, and swung the door open.
Only to see Sanji standing there, with Victoria in his arms
