He touched it.
The ground started to shake and the egg opened. Steven backed up as the gem floated up. He ran back to the other gems and Connie.
"THE EGG OPENED!"
They ran back to the gem. They hid behind a big rock as the gem took its form. They watched it.
Garnet was thinking what it could be then.
*flash back to one of sapphires memories*
"These offspring are going to be a great help in the future. Mh?" A Pearl said.
"Hm? Oh yeah." Sapphire said knowing that they will bring war.
"Is this how the gems are made?" Sapphire asked.
"yes. I don't exactly know how we get the gems but they are here and once they hatch then they will take their normal form." Pearl explained.
