Later That Night

We all decided to sleep in one room we felt more safe that way.We made a huge palette in the living room we slept on the floor and the babies slept in a play pin.We all took turns staying up and I went first.I sat up looking into the dark day dreaming. What if it is my fault?What if all of this started because I didn't go with Charlie?Maybe I stayed away from them they would be safe.Its a risk but thats a risk im willing to take if it keeps everyone safe.I woke Cassidy up by shaking her lightly."Im gonna stay up all night so you can just sleep"I said"Ok thanks and im sorry"she said"Its ok goodnight"I told her"good night".I waited a while and got up I went to got get my stuff and I brung it down without making a noise.I wrote a note that said."I love you all but it seems that I am the cause of all of this.The farther away I am from you all the safer you are.I want you all to be happy and safe.I am removing myself from you all.Just know that you are forever in my heart and I am in yours.This is good bye.Forever."

I gave everybody a kiss on the cheek and left the house.I shed a tear and drove to my house.I sat there and waited for Charlie. It seemed like he was always creeping around hear so why shouldn't he be here.I heard a bump behind me and I turned around and there he was.I ran over to him and hugged him."I'll go with you"I said looking up"What did you say?"he asked confused"I'll go with you , but only if you leave my family alone"I said"O-ok are you ready now?"he asked"Yes I am"I said setting my engagement ring on the coffee table"Okay lets go"he said.We left the house and that was the end.Im never going back.I'll never get married to the one I loved,I'll never see what my babies came to be, and my happiness is gone.
