Averial's P.O.V
I blushed when Josh siad its about time
"umm...yeah..." I said looking at the ring on my finger "well the counsal wants to talk to me and Derek...alone"
"oh okay I get it see you later" Josh said and turned around and went outside
I was nurvous my palms were swetting and I could feel the heat rush to my face "follow me please" Derek said
Derek reached for my hand and interwined our fingers I smiled at him and followed him he walked down stairs where I dont spend alot of time
He walked us twords a large wooden doubble set of doors and opned them wide we stood back as we let the counsal members threw
after the last one was threw we steped in and closed the doors Derek squeased my hand and pulled me to the head of the table in the center of the room
Derek pulled out both of the chairs at the head of the table and kissed my cheek befour I sat down I did't let go of his hand and I wached as he sat next to me
this is where the aquward scilence kicked in Derek squeased my hand and looked at me
"Okay" the lady with dark brown hair said "my name is Caroline and Im the leader of the wolfs my mate died im the sole leader of the wolf world"
I was absoutly speachless
"my name is Dale" the guy with the black hair said "my mate's name is Fenex" Dale said gesturing to the lady with the carmel colored hair
"im Danny" said the guy with the beach blonde hair "and this is my mate Lisa" he said showing off the lovley red headed lady
"and im Gabe" said the other black haired guy "I never found my mate"
"this it the wolf councal" Caroline paused "Im starting to get too old to take care off all the were's of the world"
"your not old" I said and let my eyes go wide I cant belive I spoke that outloud
"Averial my darling I might look thirty on the outside but im actually one hundred and fiftey"
I looked at Caroline and looked at her eyes they held more of a glow with-in them wow I cant belive shes so old
"as I was saying im getting a little old to be taking care off all the were's of the world and I want to leave my world to someone I can trust"
"who are you going to leave the...the...the thron..too?" Derek questioned
"Im getting to that just wait"
"Iv been wacthing the two of you latley I seen alot but I have noticed a few ting in particular like the time that Derek fell in the glass and you were mad at him but you hellped him because it was the right thing to do"
I let my jaw hit the table
"how do you know that?" I questioned
"Ave my darling I know alot of things that you wouldt belive...liike I know you want to start a family of your owne with you mate" she said lookin at Derek
Oh.My.Gosh. I cant belie she just said that, I looked at her and let my eyes go wide "How do you know that?"
"Ave like I said I know alot of things...like Derek is in love with you and wants to have some...fun with you befour you start a family"
I looked at Derek he was looking in his lap his face as red as a tamato
"oh my god Caroline thats quite enough cant you see your embarsing them?" Gabe said
"im sorry for embarsing you but its true all of what I said"
My cheeks redned at the tought of sleeping with Derek
"yes well back on topic" she paused "I can see that the two of you are suituable canadates to take over my place when I leave"
there it goes (my jaw) yeah it hit china
"oh...wow...ahhh...wow...I...don't...umm.." Derek sputtred out
"what do you mean suitabale canadates?"
"well this summer im hosting a...meating..so I can have all my canadites togther and decied who im going to pick to take my place and all you need to do is become full mates and then you will be one of the five pairs that will be there"
"so what your saying is that Derek has to mate with me mark me and then we will qualfie to become the next royal cupple?"
"thats exactyl what im saying"
