"Hello?"
"Hi.."
"Y/N?"
"Yeah, it's me.."
"Heyy, so you've decided to come have dinner with me this weekend?"
"Is tomorrow okay?" I don't know why i'm doing this, I guess a little change feels good
"Yupp, i'll come pick you up around 6?"
"Okay"
"By-" And with that, I hung up
The next day, six o'clock rolled around and I stepped outside with my white hoodie and blue jeans with some vans, and of course, I had my hood on. I got in the passenger seat of her black range rover
"How does a teenage girl own a car like this?"
"Well, first of all hi to you too.. Second of all, well I got this for my birthday from my parents so yeah, you like it?"
"I do."
"Oh wow!" I look at her with questioning eyes
"It's actually the first time i've seen any express of positive emotion from you! Good job."
"Ughhh" I grunted looking out the window
The rest of the car ride was silent, it was a comfortable silence though surprisingly.
"We're hereee"
We pull up on a hill next to the hollywood sign, just as the sun was about to set. I get out of the trunk and help Kendall get things out of the trunk.
"A picnic?"
"Yupp, isn't it such a good idea?"
"Um, no, did you think about being eaten alive by mosquitos and how unsanitary this is? All the sand and dirt can get on our food?"
She sighs "Y/N can't we just be positive and enjoy this beautiful sunset together? Look at how beautiful this is!"
She was right, the colors across the skies were breathtaking, I didn't say a single word and I sat down on the blanket. As I was eating I experienced something different..Kendall looked beautiful with the setting orange sun shining on her face, the way the wind breezed across her face creating movement in her hair.
"Is there something on my face?" She asked while patting the area near her mouth
"No, I just..No...Well, actually there's something on your shirt.."
She looked down at her shirt, right as she looked down I grazed my finger, causing her to look up
"You did not just do that.."
I smiled "Yes I did"
"That's so old Y/N! So stupid too!"
"But you fell for it didn't you?" I couldn't stop myself from laughing and she soon followed until silence came over us once again as we both stared into the sunset
She turns to me staring into my eyes "You should smile more often, you look cute when you smile, and you also have an adorable laugh."
I smiled at what she has said "Yeah yeah Jenner" I ruffled her hair
"Hey! Are your hands even clean?" She slapped me on my shoulder causing me to let a small chuckle.
The rest of the night was more or less the same, we talked and laughed about stupid things, it felt good to finally open up a little to someone.
"Well, I had a great time Jenner, thanks for the night" I smiled as a gave her a quick hug
She smiled "Be ready at 1 tomorrow, i'm picking you up." And with that she left without an explanation.
