Kiba ~ Love at First Sniff 🐺🐺

This is a request made by my friend Armin_Krista ! She's awesome and I hope you like it!
(Btw Kiba's literal definition of his name is "Fanged Dog Boy". *Yes, don't judge, I look these things up*😂 <google translate>)

Krista POV:
I knew Kiba ever since I was an infant. Once I turned 5, old enough to have my own pet, I got Fuyu, a ten-tailed wolf that my parents got for me as a custom of the Giles clan. Kiba got Akamaru, a Great Pyrenees puppy. When ever my parents used to take me to play with Kiba, Akamaru and Fuyu would also get along well, too.

10 Years Later:

Kiba POV:
It's been 10 years ever since I saw Krista. She moved away after that last day I saw her when we were 5. My mom told me she was moving back today and I would get to see her. Within the time she was gone, I realized I loved her.
She was the only person that really got me, being a stinky dog person and all, at least that's what I am told by others. My friends often bully me for always living life the way I do, with Akamaru. I never got why they never really liked me though, I mean, I think I smell fine.

Krista POV:
Today's the day. I was finally going to get to see Kiba again. I always liked him but I never got to tell him my true feelings. My parents said where we are living, there isn't enough schooling so I moved back to Konoha since they have the best Education.

It just so happens that my new house is right next to Kiba's. Fuyu is all grown up now and that means Akamaru should be too. As I walked through my door, I immediately felt relieved. Probably relieved that I could see my dear old friend again. Then, something caught my nose. "BACON!!" I thought out loud. I jumped right out of my seat and rushed to the house next door, Fuyu following me.

I ran to the next door house and barged in, my animal instincts kicking in, not bothering to even knock. Surprisingly, the door was unlocked. I then saw Kiba's mom cooking some bacon. "YUM" I said while panting. The woman turned around and gave me a genuine smile. "Krista!" she exclaimed while running over and hugging me. "Why, you've grown into such a wonderful young lady!" She said while pulling away from a hug that seemed to last forever.

"Hello Mrs. Inuzuka!" I replied with a smile. "How nice to see you! I'm sorry if I'm intruding but could I have some bacon, please?" I asked, anxious to taste the freshly cooked meat.
"Why of course! Have a seat." She said politely while handing me 3 thick strips of bacon. I chomped down the first one, then the second one.
Then, as I was eating the third one, a boy jumped in front of me and snatched the bacon from my mouth.
I yelled angrily but playfully knowing it was Kiba. I chased him down and got my half gobbled bacon strip back. We both started breaking down into laughter for a few seconds. Then I blushed a bright red when I realized he was on top of me. I took this as an advantage and took my chances.

Kiba POV:
As I was in a very awkward position with Krista, she leaned in and gave me a soft kiss on the lips. I was startled at first but sunk into it. It was the best feeling in the world. After a while, she pulled back and I looked into her beautiful e/c eyes and gave her a fanged grin. "How'd you know I was here?" She asked me with a smile. "I smelled your scent and I knew it was you!" I replied , chucking in between words. With that, Krista's parents barged in and Akamaru, Fuyu and my parents were all staring at Krista and I. I saw her turn a bright shade once again and we both helped each other up.

Extended Ending: (3rd person POV)
As Krista and Kiba were walking down the road, holding hands, they both looked at each other and smiled. Akamaru and Fuyu were tagging along, too. It was silent. "Uhh Krista..." Kiba started to speak. "Yes Kiba, what is it?" Krista replied. "Umm... I-I just wanted to s-say... I-love-you!" Kiba said all in one breath. Krista froze for a second and this made Kiba worried. Then, Krista jumped on him " I'd thought you'd never say! I love you too dog boy." She said with a smile while tackling him playfully.
