The Court Day Ends In Disaster

Haven wore her best dress to the court house and watched nearly in tears as Dean walked out in handcuffs with a sullen look on his face. She had told him to plead innocent of the charges and seeing the look on his face, she doubted he would listen to her

She sighed and stood near Randy when the judge walked out and her dad escorted Dean to his lawyer

As the court went by, it was now time to ask Dean how he plead to the charges

Haven inhaled and held her breath as he made eye contact with her before he closed his eyes

"Guilty," he replied

Haven closed her eyes as a tear ran down her cheek

She sighed as Randy held her hand as a source of comfort

"I'm sorry," Dean mouthed

"Dean Ambrose, on account of your plead and the jury's view, we find you guilty of all charges and we-" she didn't get to finish

"Wait!" Haven said standing up

Everyone's eyes were on her and Dean looked scared

"He isn't guilty, he's being framed," she said walking up to the podium

She whispered something to the judge who nodded at her

"Lawyers, officers, members of the jury, on behalf of this young lady, I'm rescheduling another hearing five days from now, Mr. Ambrose's case will be defined then." She said

Dean shook his head but Haven shot him a sharp look and he backed down

Haven thanked god that the judge was understanding enough to grant her extra time to collect evidence

As they were leaving the courthouse, Dean walked near Haven and her dad when he stopped to tie his shoes

Haven began conversation with her dad when she heard Dean yell out

"HAVEN!!"

Then she was violently pushed making her fall to the floor in her heels

She watched in horror as Dean, who was standing where she previously was, had a giant, bleeding wound on his left shoulder. He swayed a little then touched the wound and stared at the blood on his fingers and then suddenly, his eyes rolled and he fell to a heap on the floor. Haven who was in shock, finally caught herself

"DEAN?!" She screamed, running to where he was laying and she quickly ripped a piece of her dress and applied pressure to his wound, his eyes briefly opened

"Haven...ah, I-I love you," he spoke as his hand shakingly touched her face

Her eyes filled with tears, she didn't see her dad calling the ambulance or the other searching officers, she just saw Dean whose eyes were beginning to glaze

"I love you too," she assured him, leaning down to kiss him

He kissed back before she felt him go limp in her arms

She screamed and took his face in her hands and when the ambulance came, she began crying into her dad's shoulder

She couldn't believe Dean took a legit bullet for her.
