Sorry this one is really sad and a bit suicidal (understatement) I wrote this on a really low day.
~-~
I saw you cry hard
I saw you in pain.
They were messing you up,
Like you were just a game.
I heard all your mutters
To 'please make it stop'.
But all you got instead
Were their arrogant insults.
There then came a day,
When I no longer saw,
Tears roll down your cheeks
Or cuts on your arms.
But what I did see
Was the rest of the school
Bawling their eyes out
Over the girl they called a fool.
They had called you ugly,
They had called you insane,
They had called you a bitch,
Until you could no longer take the pain.
When you took the sharpest knife,
And nearly cut off your hand,
Bleeding out all your blood,
'Til you could no longer stand.
When you fell to the ground,
Covered in your blood,
You breathed your last breath,
I hoped you never would.
So, here I am today,
All alone in class.
Completely in shock,
But no one ever asked.
Cause even though you never knew,
Even though we didn't talk,
You were my best friend,
And I loved you with all my heart.
