his heart made a big somersault. had he heard that right? 'what?' he asked, just to be sure, and she repeated her words. he felt his face split, slowly, into a big, wide grin.
for a few seconds, he didn't know what to say. or do anything, for that matter. 'finally,' he then muttered out, 'i l o v e you too.'
