It was now about 8:30pm. I was in my backyard with my cousins and of course Wyatt. We just got done playing a game of volleyball.

I went inside the house to get a drink of water. Afterwards I went upstairs to my room. It was hot outside so I went to get a hair tie to pull my hair up.

I opened my door and went to my desk. I grabbed the hair tie and heard a noise behind me. I turned around and saw Jaeden. My heart stopped.

"Jaeden what are you doing?!" I gasped.

"I came to see you. My family isn't very fun. And my cousin went home early." He said.

I smiled. "Oh."

I glanced out my window behind him and saw the sun was starting to go down. The sky was a beautiful bright orange.

He looked at me and smiled. "It's beautiful right, I was thinking if you weren't busy we could sit out and watch it."

I smiled. "That's a great idea."

I grabbed his hand and led him towards the window. I quickly let go and opened it up wider than it already was. I grabbed his hand again and led him outside.

I sat down on the roof. And he was about to sit down next to me when he started talking again.

" I meant we could go down with your family if you want. You don't have to stay up here with just me."

I looked at him as he sat down. "Jaeden. Of course I want to stay here with you. I don't mind at all." I smiled and he began to leaned in. I closed my eyes.

A few seconds later I felt his warm lips against mine. I got the same fluttering feeling as I did the first time we kissed. I actually felt it every time we kissed.

It always felt so right.

We broke apart a few seconds later and he smiled.

"I'm so lucky to have you."

I blushed and looked down.

"I love you Jaeden."

He looked up at me. "I love you Darling."

We glanced at the now set sun and smiled.

Then below us I heard a loud bang. I looked at Jaeden.

"Oh no." I giggled.

He giggled. "Oh yes!" As he rubbed his hands together with excitement.

Then I saw a spark of light shoot into the air. Hearing a loud explosion following.

I looked up and saw beautiful sparks of colors floating down what seemed like right in front of us.

The neighbors below us were setting off fireworks and the height of them came right above Jaeden and I.

I felt an arm wrap around my shoulders. I smiled.

We sat and watched the fireworks all night.

I would've never thought at this time last year, I would now this year be sitting on my roof. With Jaeden. And watching sunsets and fireworks. But at the same time. I couldn't imagine it any other way.
