I was sitting in booth at this place called the flying biscuit with stokeley

I flipped through the menu trying to find something to order

"What you gonna get?"

"Uh...i don't know " I said scanning through the items

"Imma get some pancakes"

I continued looking through the menu until the waiter came to us

"What can I start you guys off with to drink?"

"Apple juice"

"Water"

"Ok I'll be right back with your drinks" she smiled before walking away

I was itching to know what happened last night with stokeley as much as I didn't want to bring it up I just had too

"Stokeley what happened last night?"

"Huh?"

"Like why were you crying"

"Oh..um I had a bad dream"

"Oh"
I knew he was lying but I didn't question him about it

After me and stokeley ate he dropped me off at home and left

Leaving me home alone with Alani because my dad was at work

I put my headphones in and listened to some music while scrolling through Instagram

I heard a knock at the door and I knew it was Alani so I ignored it but she opened the door and peeked her head in

I sighed and took my headphones out of my ears

"What do you want?"

"Indya I came to apologize about earlier today when I walked in on you and stokeley" she said walking towards my bed

"Ok bye" I was about to put my headphones back in my ears before she stopped me

"And I'm also sorry for all of those times in middle school.. I really am and I regret making your middle school years a living hell me being older then you I decided to take a advantage of that and bully you which was wrong" she said sounding very sincere

"Ok bye now" I tried putting my headphones back in my ears before she stop me and grabbed my arm

"Indya I'm serious I don't like being on your bad side I'm apologizing to you and you can accept it or not"

I didn't really know to be honest because she was so sincere about all the vile things she did to me yet she waited all these years to apologize?

"Indya I got sent off to boarding school for 7 years how much more punishment do you want me to receive?"

"Fine I forgive you"

"You do?" She said smiling

"Yea"
I let a weak smile appear on my face before she pulled me in for a hug and I hugged back

"So tell me all about you and stokeley?" She asked sitting upright on my bed

"He is taking me on a date tonight supposedly"

"oh my god! Really? You've got to let me help you get ready, I have some really cute dresses I brought with me" she gushed

"Ok that should be fun" I smiled

She smiled back and we continued talking as she caught me up with her love life, friends, and other drama that happened in college
