The Darkness

Chapter 2

But the funniest thing was is that the girl wasn't there but only a dark mahogany desk. On the desk was a box, a glass bottle, a hat, and a note that said choose one. You think for a moment. The box is small but not to to small. The bottle had some sort of liquid in it. And the hat was just a normal old cowboy hat. You didn't know what to do. On one hand there was the mystery of the box and bottle. But the reassuring knowledge of the hat. You think about how the bottle could hold poison, and how the box might have a deadly snake or spider in it. But the hat was just a hat, nothing special nothing different about it. After thinking long and hard about your decision you chose the bottle. It might be poison so if you face a threat in the dark place you could poison someone but on the other hand if you find out that it is not poison you can drink it and use the bottle to hold water even though you don't know if there even is water in the darkness. So you grab the bottle. And turn around to see if anything else had randomly appeared while you were thinking. You turn back to the desk. You see three new items. This time it was three stuffed animals... you are very confused why would there be stuffed animals? Their was a wolf, a bird, and a horse. And the note that said chose one was still there. You think well it's a stuffed animal i guess i'll just pick the one you like the most. You pick up the wolf stuffed animal. As soon as you pick it up it starts to grow in size you drop it and take a few steps back. It keeps growing in size till it's the size of a real wolf. You blink a few times and rub your eyes. When you open them again there is a beautiful grey wolf with green eyes in front of you. You try to run from it but it follows you. So you end up just standing in the darkness staring at a wolf. You think that maybe just for fun you could tell it to sit, so you do. But to your surprise the wolf sits on command. Now you're even more confused. You think about how this is probably all just a dream, and start to look for the desk again., you find if off in the distance not to far away. You walk towards it with the wolf following you. You get to the table and there is now a bag there with a note saying. The items you picked will determine what lies ahead, take this bag, for it has food and water. And whatever you do, do NOT talk to the girl. You grab the bag and look at the wolf. You figure that if the wolf is going to be following you that it should probably have a name. You think for a bit. Finally, you pick the name Okami.
