Chapter 2: Return

"Mmm! (Y/N)-chan your macarons are absolutely delicious!" Another kohai compliments my sweets making me smile.

"Arigato! I'm so happy you like them!"

"Uwa... And (Y/N)-chan even has a nice and friendly personality I wish you were here everyday!"

I blush slightly before the kohai's friends call him over to another table. STARISH I believe was their group name. They seem to have quite alot of potential.

"Ah! (Y/N)-chan!" I turn around to see Nanami Haruka, a nice girl who I've met alot of times back in the Master Course. But she was only a junior then.

"Uwa! Haruka-chan! It's so good to see you, how have you been?" I asked and quickly took her hands in mine. Remembering how we had helped each other when it came to composing songs. Even though I am 2 years older than her we still are good friends. "Cute as ever I see!"

She blushed softly at my words but smiled nonetheless. "It's been a tough ride without you. I kinda miss meeting up just to discuss our songs or complain about how sloppy the boys are hehe!"

"Yeah those were good times... I'm sorry for leaving unexpectedly by the way." I looked at her and saw her smile at me sympathetically.

"It's alright! Besides, I'm sorry for not being there when you were going through those times... I feel bad for leaving you to deal with them by yourself. Especially when you helped me deal with living in the dorms after all."

"Iya! It's all good, we're even now! And well... Shining-san wants me to come here every once and awhile to make sweets for the kohai's. So we'll be seeing each other alot from now on!" I smiled.

"Uwa! That's so great! I can introduce you to Tomo-chan!" Haruka-chan smiled as I tilted my head in confusion. "Tomo-chan?"

"Yeah! She's a really good friend I made a few months after you left. She's a really good person actually."

"Nanami-chan! We have to discuss the lyrics to our new song right?" A short blond male with a...pink? Hat runs up and grabs Haruka-chan's hand.

"Oh yeah! Gomenasai, Syo-kun. I forgot." The blond who I presume is named Syo blushed furiously. Probably since he just realized he was holding her hand or something.

"U-uwa! Are you (Y/N) Urihara?! Like, the legendary ido?!" Syo suddenly pointed at me with a shocked expression.

"U-um... Well my name is (Y/N) Urihara but I don't think I was that legendary during my career..." I mumbled under my breath.

"S-syo-kun remember I told you about her? She's my friend!" Haruka-chan whispered something to Syo which made him blush even more and he quickly bowed to me.

"I-i'm very sorry for my rudeness...." He said and I smiled.

"That's fine. Now Haruka-chan you should go, I see your composing for an idol group now eh?"

"H-hai!" She quickly brightens up, "Their called STARISH, they debuted long after Quartet Night became senpai's actually."

Then you remembered... Quartet Night debuted long ago and you had only congratulated them two years after they had become famous. Now they're senpai's in the Master Course.

"(Y/N)-chan? (Y/N)-chan?" Haruka-chan waved her hand in front of me as I snapped out of my thoughts.

"G-gomen..." I said with a lopsided smile.

Haruka-chan only nodded. She seemed to understand, "It's OK. They know now and aren't mad at you anymore."

"Thanks. Anyway, you should go back to your group! I heard your discussing song lyrics?"

"O-oh yeah! Syo-kun let's go!" Haruka-chan looked over to Syo who seemed to be smothered by a blond haired man with glasses. His hair looked so fluffy, to the point you wanted to touch it.

I smiled and waved as the three of them run off to the table with the kohai who complemented my sweets.

"(Y/N)-(Y/NNNNNNNNN)!!!!!!" Someone screamed from behind you and upon instinct you ducked for knowing what was about to come.

Reiji immediately fell to the ground and faceplanted. "I-ittai! (Y/N)-(Y/N) must you be so mean to dodge my hugs???" Reiji-kun pouts and makes a puppy face. Seemingky unfazed by the fact that he had just fallen to the ground.

"This is why you don't give flying hugs to a friend who's known you practically forever Reiji." I said with a smug smirk and hold out my hand.

"Hmph!" However, Reiji-kun still took my hand and got up.

"Tch, you baka." Ranmaru says with Ai following silently behind him. "She's been dodging your hugs since the time we were part of the Master Course what do you think?"

"It's true." Ai-kun adds, "Since the past two years she has succesfully dodged 99.9% of your so-called "flying hugs"."

"It's still fun!" Reiji-kun says with a smile.

"So (Y/N), why don't you join us for lunch?" Ranmaru asks with a slight blush on his cheeks, "I-it's not like I want you there or anything!"

"Hehe, if Tsunmaru wants me to then sure!" I smile as Ranmaru blushes even more. Any time he acts like a tsundere I activate the nickname Tsunmaru, which Reiji-kun and Ai-kun have grown accustomed to.

"Yay!!! Come on follow me! Ai-Ai grab some sweets for Myu-chan by the way!"

"Already have them." Ai said with his arms stuffed with my cakes and macaroons.

"You guys are gonna share that?" I asked.

"Nah, Myu-chan just eats an insane amount of sweets."

"Tch, too many sweets." Ranmaru scoffed.

"It's surprising how he doesn't have diabetes yet but it's fine as long as he stays health I guess." Ai said in his usual monotone.

"Well you make him sound like an addict." I said sighing.

"Because he is! Look there he is sitting by the window! MYU-CHANNNN!!" Reiji immediately runs over to him but the platinum blonde male got up and let Reiji run into the wall.

"ITAII!!!" He wailed.

"U-uwa! Reiji-kun daijobu?" I asked and quickly assessed his forehead which appeared to have a slight bruise.

"(Y/N)-Chan is so kind ahh!!!" He squealed and wrapped his arms around my neck in a hug.

"Reiji-kun baka!" I said and flicked his forehead which caused him to wail again, "That HURT!!!"

"Tch, as usual. You really need to stop getting peasants to worry about such incompetent problems Kotobuki." The platinum blonde male said once more.

"Well that isn't very nice of you." I said and stood up to look at him in the eye, though he was a few inches taller than me, that doesn't mean I was intimidated.

"Says a lowly peasant! Do you even know who I am you fool?!" He yelled, a frosty aura forming around him.

"No, I don't. And I'm sorry but would it really be that much trouble to be polite to a woman? Or anyone in that matter?" He looked at me surprised and stayed silent as I smirked in triumph.

This is gonna be fun.
