author's note

I got inspired to do this collection of poems
by watching and reading 13 Reasons Why,
a few people that I've met in my life
have experienced the topics that
are in this collection, and my own
personal experiences.

Also,
I'd like to give
a shoutout to
maemaew1500 and
trxshme for inspiring me
to write my own poetry. Their
poems are absolutely beautiful.
So, if you're looking for poetry
recommendations, I advise
reading theirs.

Second, I'd like to give
another shoutout to
my friends and family.
Without them, I'd
probably wouldn't
of written this
collection.

Third, poetry
is a way of
expressing feelings,
but the topics told
throughout this
collection are
serious.

Depression, anorexia,
and suicide are all
very serious topics.
If you or someone
you know is dealing
with one of those
topics, don't
hesitate to tell
someone.

My friend, when he
figured out that I
was having suicidal
thoughts because
of the letter I gave
him, he went and
told his parents who
then told our school's
headmaster who, later on,
told my parents.

Because of him, I am slowly
getting better and each day
I'm grateful for him doing
that. Remember, when
you commit suicide,
the pain doesn't
end, it gets transfered
to another person.
