Chapter Sixty-Seven

Switzerland is very chilly. I need a scarf, a pair of mittens or gloves and  a bonnet right now. Really freezing. Harry does not seem to mind. At all.

Allana: Are you not freezing?

Harry’s lips are turning purple.

Harry: Yes. Totally freezing.

Allana: I like the way you hide it. By using your purple lips.

Harry: Yours is purple too.

Allana: Maybe that’s why it feels numb.

Harry: Want to make sure?

I frowned. I do not understand.

And then suddenly we stopped walking. Great. Freezing right here. And all of a sudden his face was inches away from mine.

Allana: Wh-what are you doing?

Harry laughed.

Oh, he meant he wanted to make sure that my lips were numb, so he tries to kiss me.

Allana: Very funny, Wales.

Then we continued walking.

When we reached the airport, the heaters were flaring. Austin was waiting for us outside. And the walk to the airport to the car is only about 100 meters or so. And the walk from the run way is almost a kilometer. Or I was exaggerating.

When we entered the car, the heater was on it’s minimum temperature.

Allana: Austin, can you put the heater up?

Austin: Of course.

Allana: Thanks.

Harry recieved a text message.

Harry: Well, Beatrice is already here with Eugenie, apparently they took the train.

Allana: Told you the train is much faster.

Harry: Next time we go here, we are taking the train.

Allana: Thank you.

Harry: William’s taking the plane too, I think. He’ll be riding it with Peter.

Allana: Great. They’ve already have their rooms right?

Harry: Yes.

Harry’s phone rang again.

Harry: I have to take this.

Allana: Take your time. I have to call Carmela too.

He took his phone.

I called Carmela.

Carmela: Hi!

I sense enthusiasm.

Allana: Uh, hi? Why are you so happy?

Carmela: Well, I’m just happy.

Allana: Oh, well, I had a chance to talk to William.

Carmela: William?

Allana: Bassingthwaighte.

Carmela: Oh. I just got confused, you have Prince William. I never thought that you would talk to Will.

Allana: Apparently, you left your phone and he answered it.

Carmela: Yeah. I had an errand to do. It’s kinda urgent.

Allana: Oh. Well, I’m already here in Switzerland. And I am a popsicle.

Carmela: Yeah, it’s really chilly there. I went there last Christmas with Will. Kinda liked it. Kept each other warm. Will you keep each other warm?

Allana: What? We are sharing the house with his cousins and William, and Harry and I are going to share one room.

Carmela: So, technically, you two are sharing a room, and keeping each other warm?

Allana: No! We are not keeping each other warm.

I looked at Harry. Apparently, he overheard it. Although he did not look at me, I see a tiny smile at his face. I rolled my eyes.

Carmela: Whatever you say! I can feel you blushing.

Allana: No, I’m not.

Carmela: Okay, whatever. Really, whatever.

Allana: So, how are things with you and Bassie?

Carmela: Bassie?

Allana: Will. I know too much Williams. So, I’ll call him Bassie.

Carmela: Well, it’s fine. Happy. You?

Allana: What about me?

Carmela: Decision?

Allana: What?

Carmela: What’s your decision?

Allana: Oh, that. Well, I can’t talk about this now.

Carmela: Oh. He’s in the car with you?

Allana: Yup.

Carmela: Well, I’ll know eventually.

Allana: Yes, you will.

Carmela: Hey, I have to go.

Allana: Oh, take care of yourself okay?

Carmela: I’ll see you soon.

She hung up.

I put my phone back in my bag. I looked at Harry while he’s on the phone. He frowns from time to time.

I looked out the window. Harry’s boring me. He’s still on the phone. Then suddenly, he raised his voice which startled me and made me hit my head on the glass.

Allana: Shit.

Harry said on the phone: I have to go. And we’ll talk about this later.

He hung up.

Harry: Sorry.

Allana: It’s okay. Don’t do that again.

Harry: Sorry.

He smiled.

I smiled back.

After a few minutes, we arrived at the house.

Harry: Eugenie and Beatrice are already.

Allana: Oh.
