Before you go into this story, I have a couple of things to say.
1) This is almost completely unedited. It's the second draft, only tweaked for the grammar mistakes, and there's a bunch of things I want to redo, but I feel much better having people comment on certain things (for instance, characters, events, things I could do better, things I did well in terms of writing), which is why I'm uploading the second draft.
2) When I do go back and edit this (it's more likely that I'll rewrite), the chapters will have a little * (an asterisk) next to it. Once I edit or rewrite all the chapters, I'll remove the asterisks.
3) This story is based off of a real event that happened in the 1990s. I hope that I can do it justice, for I have multiple sources, first accounts, that I can draw from.
