The Secret Mission

Today's the Day

                            Lucy's POV
5 days: 19 hours: 43 seconds

I wake up and do my morning routine. After I did that I went downstairs to make some breakfast. I started taking out the ingredients for pancakes, when there was a knock on the front door. I go to see who it is through the peep hole, to see Lahar and Mest.(just ignore the fact that Lahar FREAKIN DIED AND PEOPLE STILL SAY HE COMES WITH MEST!!)

My heart started pounding, I thought I was supposed to turn it in within the week limit. I started to get freaked out and I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard someone start to speak on the other side of the door.

" Lucy, you're not in trouble, we are just her to speak to you and look around the house," who I assumed was Mest

I take a deep breath and open the door.

"Hello Lahar, Mest, how are you?" I say with a smile

"Hello Ms.Heartfilia, we are fine but we were assigned to take a look around your house and ask you a few questions," Lahar said with a straight face

"Oh okay, what type of questions?" I say as I stepped aside to let them in

"I was about to make some pancakes, do you guys want me to make you some?" I asked them as I walked into the kitchen

"No, we don-," Lahar started, but was interrupted

"Yes, we would, thank you, but I would like to give you a hand," Mest said as he walked and stood next to me

A/N:Since this, in my opinion could go on for freakin ever, he helped make the pancakes, while cracking jokes. The three of them sat and ate at the table talking. Mest and Lucy were making a conversation while Lahar sat quietly until he spoke up and asked Lucy a question which was one of two reasons they were there in the first place.

"Ms.Heartfilia, would you feel comfortable living with the seven criminals?" he asked me out of the blue

"As long as they don't try anything, I'm fine with it, I was actually going to turn in the letter today," I said glancing at my bracelet

"Next question, are you aware that you may not reveal details of the mission to anyone who was not notified about your mission without the recognition and approval from the council?" Lahar questioned

"Yes, but I can tell my guild no questions asked, right?" I said

"You will have to take it up with the council, I suggest you mention it when you return your letter," Lahar answered with an emotionless voice

"Ok, I'm actually headed to the council headquarters(I forgot what it's called)after this," I said getting up from the table making my way to kitchen sink

"Oh, since we have to head back to headquarters, you can come with us," Mest said making his way to the door

Mest teleports Lucy and Lahar to headquarters. Lucy is on her way to the court room to plead her case about the guild knowing about her mission. They come to a conclusion that fairy tail will attempt to attack the criminals, so she could not tell them. She turned in the letter and the beads on her bracelet turned black, maroon, royal blue, yellow, orange, dark violet, and dark green.(I wonder how this relates to the story🤔). They put me in the waiting room for my escort to my first new roommates cell.😆

"Excuse me, Ms.Heartfilia, I am here to escort you to your first criminals room," A beautiful woman said as she sashayed over to me

"If you would follow me," she said as walked away to a door opposite from where she came in

I followed her down a long hallway, and we started going down concrete stairs. We walked down for what felt like forever until we reached a big blue door with a slide lock and a screen with a handprint scanner. She lifted the handle up and slid it to right, then placed her hand on the scanner. The door creaked open and the woman walked in with me scurrying after her.

After a walking a few miles we reached a crystal cell with a dark figure slumped inside of it. The woman said a few words that made no sense and the crystal disappeared dropping the figure to the ground.

It was a woman with gold horns coming from her head. She also didn't look to good, she was very pale and had bruises and cuts on her face, her clothes were in tatters, exposing parts of her body. I didn't think that the Council tortured their prisoners, but they aren't feared for nothing.

The woman brought me out of my thoughts, she started talking about the woman on the ground.

"This is your first criminal that you will take home, Ms.Heartfilia, her name is Seilah, she is one of the nine demon gates formerly from the dark guild Tartaros."

I freeze up as I remembered everything from when we battled Tartaros...............
