Transformation

It was near five am when Sonic rose from his bed and rubbed his eyes with his knuckles and yawned. He felt more dead than before. He looked at the time and wanted to go back to sleep, but he was forced to go out with Tails today because of yesterday. He frowned, he didn't want to go. The blue blur growled at himself and got up, went to the mirror and looked at his reflection. His fur has darken to much of his liking, his quills were more rough and not at ease. He picked up the brush and straightened some so it could look decent so he wouldn't look like a rough mess to Tails. It'll just make him talk more. Sonic closed his eyes and hummed to himself then words flew out of his mouth, " Rolling around at the speed of sound~ Got places to g-OOOO!? "  he dropped the brush, his finger was burning. " Have you forgotten what today was? " The dark figure that Sonic spoke to yesterday night appeared in his mirror. His dark blue quills stood up while he remained with the same emerald eyes the other had. He calmly put his hand on the mirror, dark aura leaked from the certain spot. " Well..? " Sonic had forgot about everything, he was actually post to transform today! " You think we can do that crap later? I gotta go meet up w- " " Tails. " Sonic looked puzzled, then he remembered. He was apart of him. " Yea.. " The dark figured only laughed, Sonic didn't like the laugh as much. It likely creeped him out. " Oh you. Why don't you just.. " the other thought about what he was about to say, He couldn't say that, He has to get his full control first. " Never mind. I'll tell you how to transform when you come back. " As soon as he vanished, the mirror cracked with screams, making the blue blur flinch a little. " Jeez.. " He walked out the bathroom and grabbed his phone and proceeded to call Tails.

Tails quietly hummed to himself, waiting for Sonic to come so they can start their day. He adjusted his goggles on his head and rubbed his left ear. His phone rang with a daytime ringtone. He ran over to answer it. " Hello! " Tails smiled to himself. " Sup Tails. Ill be there in two minutes, Im gonna grab me a snack. " Tails smile slowly turned into a frown, his best bud didn't sound like himself. " Are you okay Sonic..? You sound a bit down.. " Sonic sighed on the other side of the phone, " Im fine Tails.. Just thinking Ya Know! " Sonic threw in a fake laugh that even Tails knew it was fake. Something was wrong. " Alright.. " Tails hung up the phone, he wonder what was up with his best bud, he never acted so.. Not himself..

Sonic back on the other hand sighed to himself and went out the door, he raced towards the nearest cafe to order him a biscuit and tea. He stopped at the entrance and looked at the sky, it looked like it was gonna storm. He walked inside, people were flooded inside, cramped seats and tables were making the most of it. He walked around in the cafe, but he changed his mind and headed for the door. Lightning struck and it began to pour down rain, the windows were getting slammed with water droplets. " Damn.. " Sonic sighed, guess he was gonna be late for their day together. The blue hedgehog shot Tails a text stating he might be a little late due to the storm being faster than him. The storm seemed to get worse as minutes went by, So Sonic went and took a seat in front of a very familiar face. " Faker. " " Faker. " Both Sonic and Shadow both looked at each other with disgusted faces, Sonic didn't want to see his so called hero from yesterday, on the other hand, Shadow didn't want to see everyone's blue hero. Sonic grinned and chuckled, " So what made ya save me yesterday? Im to cute to die? " Shadow became more disgusted by the minute, " Your buddy Tails n friends were gonna slaughter me if I wasn't the one to actually come save you. Plus I dont want to become the new so call " Black hero " if you died. Plus you're hideous. " Sonic twitched at the last statement, the whole sentence in general ' So he doesn't give a flying shit about me.. figures.. ' Sonic mentally was slapping himself for asking such a question, but tend to let out a small laugh to drop the disappointment. He sighed and put his hands on the table, elbow on the table and rested his head on his hand, tapping the table with his index finger. Shadow in the mean time had order another cup of coffee, while sipping his new cup, he noticed Sonic's fingers had a strange aura around it. " Nice.. Accessory.. " Sonic looked at Shadow, a bit confused on what accessory. " Huh? " " Your fingers. What is that. " The blue blur suddenly noticed and remembered what Shadow was talking about, The aura was visible! " W-well.. " Sonic gulped down some nervous fear in what Shadow might figure it out what it is, Tails recently found out that Shadow can detect negative energy within mobians just by their appearance. " Its um.. Some..Art-" " Sonic you can't lie to me. " Shadow was being serious, he actually called Sonic by his real name instead of Faker! Shadow put his hand on the table and got closer, whispering to Sonic, " What the fucking bullshit hell fuck are you doing with negative energy on your system. " " U-um.. " ' Fuck. ' Sonic stood up and dusted himself off laughing off some more fear off his system. " Hahaha.. " " Sonic. " Sonic smiled until it died out when he hear the dark figure's voice inside his head again. " Leave. " He stated, the aura growing stronger. Shadow stood up and slapped Sonic dead on, leaving a bruise on his face. " HELLO? " Sonic slowly turned his head towards Shadow, his voice reaching the limits of deep, dark, and cold. " Hello. Shadow. " Sonic couldn't help but smile at the other, his dark green emerald eyes sparkled within the other's ruby eyes. The other grabbed the blue hedgehog and dragged him to the bathroom, turning his head straight to the mirror. " LOOK AT YOURSELF! " Shadow gritted his teeth, he didn't like where this was going at all. Sonic only turned his head backwards, facing Shadow again before the rest of the body followed with. " Dont be so rude, He can't hear you right now, Let me introduce myself before we go any further. " Blue quills began to rise and turn darker, pupils vanished with a solid pure white for eyes, claws grew out of his gloves as he rose from the ground, floating in mid air. Shadow frowned and backed up some, He didn't want to fight Sonic, his Rival, but if he has to. He must. He got into a battle stance, charging up a chaos spear. The dark figure laughed. " No need to get so hasty into an actual fight. My name is Darksonic, Or you can call me Dark for short. " Dark floated back onto the ground, in a calm gesture, he bounced around some dark electricity around his fingers in a twist. Shadow began to calm and straighten himself up, seeing as if he might not have to do anything risky, For now. " State your place. " " I cannot tell you that, That so call.. Blue hero.. Tch.. Hero is a ugly word.. He has to tell you my place. " Shadow had to think, Did Sonic get corrupted? Was all of this on purpose? Did he.. Make a deal? Nah, Couldn't have. That isn't the Sonic everyone loves. Making a deal with darkness? Nope!  " So, You wont tell me anything due to Sonic has to tell me. If that makes sense. " Dark chuckled and nodded. ' He seems like trouble, I should keep my eye on him..' Shadow frowned more at his thought, hopefully he could tell everyone what's with Sonic. Dark was in his own little word humming, waiting for Shadow's next move before he took his leave. " If you tend to not have a battle, I shall make my leave. " Dark floated to the door before Shadow quickly grabbed his hand, The other looked back in confusion. " You're not going out there.. I know what you're up to. " " Killing people is my thing.. How do you know such thing.. " " Negative energy results into many things, Your looks make you seem like a serial killer. " Dark smile slowly went to a frown, a growl in irritation, returning is face back to the door. " I do whatever the hell I want. " He burst through the door, sudden screams were heard as blasts lit up the other side of the door. Shadow quickly ran out and tackled the dark hedgehog to the ground " QUIT IT?! " Dark kicked Shadow off quickly rising up to his feet, The red streaked hedgehog groaned in pain, quickly ignoring it, he threw himself at Dark's feet, throwing him down and pinning him down by his neck. " A-CK " Dark electricity started to shock and grow rapidly , Shadow's hand wasn't burning, but it was receiving horrible pain. He threw his hand back, Dark used the chance to flip him off and pin him down by the neck instead, ejecting his claws longer to threaten to slice the red streaked hedgehog. " Give me one good reason I shouldn't kill you, You may be the ultimate life-form, but I can still end that life-form. " Shadow had to think of something quick, All his years at G.U.N wasn't really helping him at all, none of his situations/tactics actually worked as they should. If he didn't come up with something now, he's done for. " W-WE CAN MAKE A DEAL! " he blurted out stuttering and quite nervous of the sudden yet quick decision.  Dark slowly blinks, if he had pupils, they would've widen some. " Another deal.. from another hedgehog. Interesting.. " Shadow eyes widen some ' Sonic.. made a deal with this guy..? ' Dark lifted up the pressure of his pin, " Speak. " Shadow slowly gulped and had to think more, he sensed that he was very impatient. " I-ill.. um.. " He didn't know what to say in order for him to make the other stop his madness. " Kuku.. You dont even know.. I'll help you with that. " Dark got closer, claws near Shadow's eye ball. You could see Shadow sweating, nervously, he was shuddering, trying best to not show a slight of fear. " Name.. it.. " " You'll.. have to.. Be my slave.. " Shadow was getting ready to punch but stopped himself when he noticed a slight pain of dark electricity run through his body.  " Don't even try it. Its a yes or no. " Shadow bit his bottom lip, he didn't want to say yes, but as much threatening as this guy was being, he don't know how capable and strong  he was compared to him. " fine.. " a small mumble came from Shadow, he didnt want to say it at all. " Louder. " Dark growled, demanding a perfect answer. " Fine. " a cold voice was heard from Shadow. He knew he was gonna regret this. Dark moved  his claw away from Shadow, lifted him up closely, eyes glowing bright white.
