Promise

The day rolled into the night. Shadow had went home and was drinking coffee. Still thinking about his decision, he sighed to myself hoping no deep shit or any bad will happen to Sonic, hopefully the negative energy won't ruin the blue speedy hedgehog's mindset. "Boo." Shadow quickly spit out his coffee in shock "WH-" Dark was floating and laughing, he couldn't believe he felt for it. Shadow only growled, he grabbed his robe and headed for the kitchen. Dark followed him and landed on his feet "What cha doooing" "About to make myself food. " Dark found that rather boring, so he decided to go explore the house. There were plenty of light areas, which made the moon shine into the house. He walked to Shadow's room, opened to only see a plain king size bed with a closed window, Nothing to exciting. " Shadow's room. Interesting. " he sat on the bed, he sinked into the relaxing, staring at the ceiling. " Only still at phase one.. I need to somehow.. gain more power.." he looked outside, considering he should walk out and do some quick kills before Shadow stops his cooking. He opened the window and flew out silently, speeding off towards the city. He reached near and floated down to his feet, he was about to happily jog forward until, "Sonic! There you are! " Dark flinched, ' Oh no. ' he quickly converted to Sonic's form, except he made his eyes much darker. " Sup Ames " he played it off cool. Amy smiled then frowned " Why aren't you resting? " she put her hand on her hip, she was wearing a tank top and some shorts,  as she was jogging before she noticed Dark.  "I uh, feel better now. " " Uh huh.. Well Tails is looking for you, you should go check on him. " Dark chuckled but realized he now had to get out of his current situation before he ran out of time. " Yea yea listen I really gotta gooo.. " " Huh? " Dark spun her around, threw her back and held her with one arm " Until next time Ms.Rose " Amy felt like she was in a spell with his eyes, until she noticed something different.. When the hell did he call her Ms.Rose. Amy backed up and swung her hammer to the ground " WHO ARE YOU!? YOU'RE NOT SONIC!  "  Dark only held his arms back and his right eye twitched, " Well shit, you're smart. " he turned back into his form, " I guess I can kill you now. " Amy eyes widen but still kept her grip on the hammer trying to show no fear. She backed up some, making sure she wasn't in no deep shit or some kind of trap. Dark appeared behind her, grabbed her by her neck and held her up helplessly, he rose into the air, if he ever dropped her, she could die. If he doesn't stop choking her, she'll pass out and fall to the ground. Amy struggled for her life, she couldn't scream out help. She dropped her hammer, when it crashed into the ground it went up in smoke and vanished. " Should I drop you.. or should I let you plummet to your death and eat up your guts and.. or maybe.. eat your own organs right in front of you.. " Dark grew a smile, a sinister smile, his grip got tighter, his claws were slowly digging past Amy's skin barrier and into her flesh. She couldn't breathe, she thought this will be her end, kicking her legs furiously, trying to kick the other before she completely gave out. She began to feel lightheaded, she slowed down on her process of kicking. Dark eyes lit up more, as this was gonna be his first meal in a long time.  He planned to go heart first, using his other hand to grab her tit , about to forcefully throw his hand in and rip it out. His plan was going successfully until- 

" HEY! "

Dark twitched and dropped Amy, quickly looking down to see a familiar shadowy figure, standing there not pleased. Shadow ran to Amy, catching her in a bridal position. She opened her eyes, looking around at her surrounding. " Are you Okay? " he asked, a bit pissed at what he witnessed, " Yea.. Im fine.. " She coughed out her words, trying to catch her breath, still wanted to get revenge, she hopped off and grabbed her hammer until Shadow told her to calm down. " REALLY? I WAS ABOUT TO FUCKING FINISH HER OFF! " Dark crashed down onto the ground with both of his feet, making the cement crack beneath him. He gritted his teeth, he was beyond pissed. " We had a deal, You gonna follow it. and It will not involve you sliding on the line to kill a friend. " Shadow folded his arms, tapping his foot impatiently and waiting for him to calm down before he moved on. " Shadow.. Who is he.. " Amy was still trying to regain her breath, actually confused on what's going on. " Its.. complicated.. I can't even say it in all one go. " He spoke rather humble about it, not wanting to cause a scene. Dark on the other hand was punching a empty store that was rather getting more supplies to it. Releasing all his anger, dark energy rose from his fists and turned the building into some what poisonous area. Shadow frowned some at what he did ' How much power do this guy has.. it actually bothers me.. I need to start a proper conversation with him. ' " Lets go. " He started to walk home. " Huh?! I need answe- HEY! " Dark shoved Amy out of the way before she could finish her sentence. " Fuck off, Kid. " Was the last thing he said to her before continuing on to follow Shadow. Amy got chills in her spine from that message, but she still need answers. Should she tell the others? No. Shadow probably wouldn't want that since.. he's somewhat controlling him..? She shook it off, she had a long day. She decided to just walk home and ask Shadow later. She'll probably call Shadow and ask him about the whole situation.  With Shadow, he opened the door for Dark, he walked in, still ashamed of his unsuccessful hunt. Shadow walked in, closed the door and leaned on the door with his arms folded. " Why. " He spoke. Dark looked at him and gave him a nasty look. " Im hungry. What the FUCK you think I rather do. " " I was making food for you stupid. " Dark blinked and chuckled " Excuse m- " Shadow walked passed him " I know you want blood and mobian flesh all that gucci good shit but I decided to whip you up something like some cooked rabbit and a raw rabbit. " Dark raised a eyebrow, " What, you think Im some type of damn werehog? " " Oh Nah, thats in another place. " Shadow chuckled while Dark became a bit confused on what he meant. ' Another.. Nevermind.. ' He shook off the idea and ran to the kitchen behind Shadow and sat down at the table. Shadow put down a cup of blood, a raw rabbit and a cooked rabbit on a plate in front of him. " Then.. Why the fuck would you tell me you're cooking for youself? " " To test you. " He sat down across from Dark. " I figure you would run out if I said I was making dinner for myself. So I tested my theory. " Dark was a bit dissapointed he wasn't smart enough to think in such a clever way. It all went quiet as Dark picked up his fork and knife and began to eat, Shadow didn't mind the awful smell of the blood and raw rabbit, this was all for him to calm down and simply get answers as soon as possible. He looked at Dark ever chance he got to suddenly notice green emerald eyes instead of clear white. ' So is this Sonic or is this Dark.. ' he tapped his fingers on the table. Only one way to find out. " Do you like running? " The other looked up and smiled, " Of course! Shadow you know me! " Sonic. Shadow smiled when he got through to Sonic finally, he looked outside to see it's still pitch dark outside. ' I still need answers from the other one.. his plans.. his scheme.. what does he plan to do with Sonic.. Then again, did Sonic even see what happen..? ' " Sonic. " Shadow spoke, a hint of worry in his voice, he might have heard the little ' deal ' him and the other dark figure had. " Yes? Its me. " " What do you remember. " Sonic suddenly dropped his fork, he remembered he wasn't at home but in fact he was right in front of Shadow, eating a rabbit.  " U-um.. Oh Hi Shadow.. " The other frowned, ' Now he remembers his surroundings. ' " You have a lot of shit ton of questions to ans- " Sonic ran to the door, Shadow ran after him and tackled him to the ground. Pinning him down with both arms. " SONIC. " " I.. DONT NEED TO TELL YOU SHIT SHADOW! " Shadow gritted his teeth, " You will fucking TELL ME what the FUCK is wrong with you with ACCEPTING THAT FUCKING DARK ENERGY SHIT INSIDE OF YOU! " Sonic struggled to get out of his grip ' A LITTLE HELP!? I WANT HIM OFF?! ' Dark chuckled, watching Sonic struggle, ' Oh please, You have to use your own strength to get out of this one. Plus, Im very tired right now. " WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE TIRED?! " Sonic screamed out, but suddenly got extremely nervous, forgetting Shadow was right in front of him. Dark only snickered before going silent again. Everything was silent, Shadow was actually speechless, Sonic was actually using the other one for power. He got up, went to the couch and sat down. " Go. " He spoke. Sonic quickly went to his feet, and grabbed the door knob, about to open it but he looked back at Shadow, feeling guilt, he fought it back but only failed in defeat when he walked to Shadow and sat on a chair next to the couch. " Shadow. " Shadow didn't look up, he balled his fists in anger, Sonic noticed this and proceeded his sentence, " Ill tell you everything. You have to promise me to not tell anyone.. Please.." Sonic was shaking, actually was putting an effort to tell him everything. Shadow looked at the blue hedgehog, noticing how upset he was. Sonic gritted his teeth when Dark spoke into his mind ' You telling him everything I see. Good luck controlling your temper. ' He chuckled. Sonic gulped knowing this was a horrible sign that he was going to be used at the wrong time and place. Shadow sat up straight and scooted over to the chair that was near the couch, put a hand on Sonic's hand and spoke with the most sensitive care he could ever give out. 

" I promise. "
