Rylan x June, PDH

Rylan's POV

Dottie, Daniel, and I were discussing about the new carnival that was coming to town when June walked by. "Hi guys!" June said, waving at us. "Hi June!" Dottie and Daniel said in unison while I stuttered, "H-Hi J-June!" she smiled at me and walked off. Dottie turned to me and said "You should totally take her to the carnival Rylan!" "Yeah! It'll be like a date!" Daniel agreed with his friend. I blushed and said "W-What?! N-No! She'll never say yes anyway." I looked down with my ears flat against my head. "Aww! Come on Rylan! I think she would love to go with you! Just give it a try!" Dottie's words of encouragement made me feel better and confident to finally ask June on a date! "Ok! I'll do it!" I said. Dottie and Daniel cheered in happiness.

After school, I saw June sitting by the fountain, reading a book. Ok. This is it! You can do this Rylan! I thought as I took a deep breath and walked over to June. She looked up and smiled. I said, "Hi J-June! I-I was wondering i-if you wanted to come with m-me to the carnival Friday night?" her eyes lit up and she said "Sure! I'd love to!" "That's great! I'll pick you off then." I said and walked away. I walked up to my friends and said "She said yes!" "Yayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!" they both yelled. I was filled with happiness and was suddenly very nervous. 

*Timeskip to the carnival*

Dottie, Daniel, June, and I stood in front of the entrance of the carnival and Dottie said "What are we waiting for?! Let's go!" and she ran inside as we laughed. Daniel and Dottie went somewhere else while leaving me with June. "So what do you want to do first Rylan?" June asked me. I looked around and saw a rollercoaster and said "Let's go ride that." she nodded and we walked to the coaster. June and I got to our seats and I asked her, "Are you afraid of rollercoasters?" "Nope! Are you?" I shook my head and the ride started. After the ride, we went to a mini game and I won her an animal plush. "Aww! Thanks Rylan!" she said and kissed my cheek. I blushed a shade of pink and she also blushed pink which I thought was cute. "Heh. No problem J-June!" I said and we went to play some more games. After a while, June said we should do the ferris wheel and I agreed. I let June take her seat and I sat down next to her. Maybe I should ask her that I like her. I thought as the ferris wheel started. When we got to the top, June was in awe of the sight and said "It's so beautiful up here." I agreed and I thought it was time to confess my feelings for her. I said "Hey June? Um can I tell you something?" she turned her head and said "Hm?" "Well...I sorta um l-like you a lot." I said, trying not to stutter. She blushed and said "R-Rylan...I like you as well." "Really?" I said, my ears popping up. "Yeah..." June said, looking at me. We stared at each other and started to lean our heads closer and we kissed. We stopped and I smiled at her blushing face. We held hands, leaned our heads together, and had our tails entangled. It was the best day of my life.
